I just wish Cody would play with confidence, like he actually belongs on the court. He's mostly just out there trying not to be noticed. He had some really good SL games. I dont expect just because he had those games he's a good NBA player, but he's definitely a better player than he has shown. I just have no confidence in him gaining confidence to ever show that though. If you're going to bust out of the NBA in 3 years, at least go out putting your best foot forward.

I agree about the confidence thing. Nobody in the NBA misses that many open shots if they’re confident.
I'd like to see Cody shoot 8 3PAs in a game and see if he can make 3 of them. If he shoots just one attempt in 5 or 6 minutes of game time, it's hard for him to find range or get any rhythm. Thing is, he's not going to get that many shot attempts with other guys who are better shooters on the floor.

True, although he’s been getting more minutes than TH or WCJ so I assume that Hardy either sees something or is looking for something. Looks pretty lackluster from my perspective even in the box score.
Lol. Yes, have the terrible shooter take 8 3's a game. Makes total sense. Everyone knows what you do with bad shooters to make them more confident is have them shoot high volume.
Cody can play solid defense, that's why he was getting minutes. He got pulled from the Lakers game because the offense became so negative it was hurting everyone else to an extreme degree.

Andy had a brutal take about how bad Cody has been this season and his Rx is a ton of GLeague time to gain experience and confidence. Last night's DNP/CD was eye opening.
Yes, and he should try it in every game against Charlotte, Dallas, Sacramento and New Orleans.
