JD Vance

If Donald or JD Vance cared about crime, they wouldn’t have pardoned 600+ Jan 6 Insurrectionists nor would they be covering up for the world’s most notorious child rapist, Epstein.

Had a wild turkey attack me while mt biking a few years ago. A guy told me there was one next to Ghost Falls in Corner Canyon that was attacking anyone who got near so on my way back down the trail I decided to see what all the fuss was about. As I stood there about 10 ft from the bushes next to the falls this huge dinosaur-footed beast bird comes out and charges me. I got off my bike and put it between myself and Butterball in a face-off but he/she was having none of it. In an instant it flew up and went for my head. I ducked as I saw the talons coming for my neck and the Pterodactyl bounced off. Then I lifted my bike and stepped toward it in an aggressive fashion but it only made Pterry more angry and it flew up and into my bike. I decided to make a run for it and it attacked again as I got on my bike and pointed down the trail. That thing ran after me for close to 100 yards seething in anger. I pedaled as hard as I could and glanced back whenever I could take my eyes off the technical exposed trail. I thought it would never stop. When I got home I googled images of their feet and realized that I had narrowly escaped death.

Yikes!

PBS aired this old episode of Nature this week. It was great, one of my favorite episodes. Not that it will warm your heart for these pterodactyls, with an experience like that.

After a local farmer left a bowl of eggs on Joe Hutto's front porch, his life was forever changed. Hutto, possessing a broad background in the natural sciences and an interest in imprinting young animals, incubated the eggs and waited for them to hatch. As the chicks emerged from their shells, they locked eyes with an unusual but dedicated mother.
