Steelers with a HUGE statement win. A really fun game.

Pity it came with the injuries though.. *sigh* .. we just can’t catch a break.

You’ve caught plenty of breaks. You’ve had two separate games where your defense has gotten 5+ turnovers.

Another L today. Time to ditch Tomlin.

with all the injuries the 49ers have had I wish they would’ve tanked. Lol. This team has no business having as good a record as they have looking at all the injuries they’ve suffered.

You’ve beaten the winless Jets, one win Browns, Carson Wentz led Vikings, and the Patriots who turned the ball over five times. Your schedule gets tougher and I imagine you finish 11-6. Maybe 10-7.

You’ll make the playoffs but you’re not good.
You were being too generous.

Steelers lol. Old defense is pathetic. Rodgers looks and plays like a homeless man. I’ve always felt Metcalf sucks. He’s not a top 25 wr. Maybe not top 30.

The funny thing is they could still win that crap vision.

Steelers setting themselves up for an improbable playoffs run….

…. provided Metcalf isn’t suspended for the rest of the season.

It’s amazing what Rodgers has been able to come in and do.

Only 2 game suspension for Metcalf - that is great news.

Also it makes his guaranteed money null in void.. and the way he’s been playing (average), it’s a pretty good turn of events for us I think.. hehehe..

Lmao. He’s literally dead last or just about dead last in most advanced qb metrics. He does not look promising.

The only hope is that Johnson’s system is so complex (which it is) and that that explains some of his issues in week one.

And just as a taste since I know you won’t believe and are clueless when it comes to American football. PFF has many advanced measures of data for qb’s. One of them is off target throws. Last year, Caleb was dead last with 21+% of his throws being off target. In week one he was at 25+%.
lol .. this aged well.

lol .. this aged well.

He’s 16th in the NFL in qbr, 17th in qb rating, and a millioneth in completion percentage.

He has a world of potential but he still goes off script too quickly and has 2-4 throws a game which are legitimately 3-4 yards (9-12 feet) off target and insanely bad. Hence his 57.9% completion percentage rather than low to mid 60’s.

He looks awesome at times. I get it. And they’ve done very well as a team. But winning all the close games won’t be something they do every year. The Commanders did it last year and regressed this year—plus they had injuries of course. The Bears are winning because they have the #1 rushing game in the NFL which helps control the ball, set the tempo, keep their defense off the field, and set up the play action for Caleb of course. Their defense also leads the league in turnovers so despite being a bottom 10 defense, their opportunistic play has helped them beyond belief.
