With hindsight we could have just done the Gobert trade and built around Donovan. Walker was good enough to have instant impact. You keep NAW and develop him (we see he is now a plus starter). Keep Royce (still a good role player. Develop Keyonte.

It wasn't out of the question.

We used to joke about getting a younger Gobert in Kessler in that deal. I'm not certain we didn't totally recoup Donovan Mitchell with Keyonte.
