Was this the "Brice showcase" game or "we have to see what he got" game? Either way, good job by Brice. His NBA skill is "to get buckets" and he executed that to near perfection.

Quite fitting that he ended up -2 on box despite being an unstoppable force on offense for most of his minutes. Not even blaming him this time, since he wasnt the weakest point on defense (that was Flip quite clearly).

I feel bad for TH. Flip iced him multiple times to rather go at the rim against double taems... and he isnt getting any passes thrown his way by the others either even when he is wide open in the corner. Hardy also doesnt draw up anything for him.

I did like the backdoor cuts by Ace and they obviously had drawn up 2-3 different plays where he was the rim runner. The one where Key passed to Flip on the post while Ace ran a backdoor cut from the weak side for easy lob finish was a thing of beauty.

22 year old putting up a crazy efficient 43 points with a +/- of exactly the difference in the game for a loss.

What a legend. 42 more games like that please

flip was exposed badly on defense last night having to play the 5 full time. with his t-rex arms he contests shots like he's 6'6", everybody shoots over him with ease whether it's a penetrating guard/wing or his own man. i mean for vuc, there simply wasn't any resistance at any point.

it's kinda sad as it's not for lack of effort, just dude who is extremely limited - on that end of the floor - by his physical characteristics.

The problem is that he kinda has to play 5 (or at least be the offensive hub) to have any value. Whenever he plays next to another big he's been horrible on offense and defense. The defense is more punishing as a 5, but at least he provides some offensive value. The reality is that offense only, no defense center is not really a recipe for an NBA career.

I agree with your last statement though. I think a lot of our guys give good effort, but they are limited by physical characteristics or the processing power to make decisions quick enough.
