The AD trade to Washington takes a Kessler suitor off the board

WAS can tank still. Much easier to just shut down AD and Trae for the season so they could compete next year. But yeah it's a bit weird for WAS cuz AD doesn't fit their timeline. His body is gonna completely break down before their young core reaching its prime.

They done tanking next year. Young/Sarr/AD core with whoever develops alongside them

Oh boy. Dallas is looking at a loooong stretch of tank years.

They just aren't in a position to develop McCain when they have Maxey and Edgecombe

McCain was just a luxury item for them and with Edgecombe's arrival, he never had a future in Philly. This carves out even more space for VJ.

I don't think so. I think it's because we didn't have any other ball handlers on the team that Hardy trusted.

Trust them to do what?

Not having a ballhandler should be a feature, not a bug in the intentionally worst era of Jazz basketball ever.

While I don't disagree with Nick Wright, I don't trust the opinions of individuals that look like they are one red jacket away from being the ringmaster in a Victorian-era circus. Dude just needs some oil for the stache.

K, well, this ringmaster is probably the best takemaker out there.
