What's new

Houston Rockets @ Utah Jazz, Wednesday 29/02/2012 7:00 PM

Agree...Burks will be a starter.

Hayward is best suited to come off the bench for 15-20 mins a nite.

Unsure on Favors / Kanter

We are talking about a rook and 2nd year players. Hayward and Favors will be good in a year or two. Remember that it took Kobe about 4 years to really get it.

I think that Jeffy and Millsap just get no respect from the refs.

But really, Jazz win big and you guys still bitch about Jeffy?

The word PATHETIC comes to mind...

What's even more pathetic is thinking that one win after a month of terrible basketball means all is well again.

There's still a glaring problem, and Al's lack of defense and his habit of having more FGAs than points is a big part of it.

But by all means, continue to live in your bubble. Don't mind me.

Yep, this was the 1 good game in 5 for Miles. Next CJ sighting will be March 9th in Philadelphia. But kudos to Chucker. On the night reports are leaked that he's being shopped, he actually helps his trade value. Hmmm, I wonder if NJ will give us anything for Deron's little buddy.

Actually, it's you guys living in your own little hate bubble.
I talk to a lot of jazz fans all over, and none of them hate Jeffy like you guys do.
They all know Jeffy isn't the best ever, but he is our best scorer, and the team would be nowhere without him.

I tell people that Jazzfanz hate Jeffy with amazing passion, and they just shake their heads and laugh.

Fun game. It was great to see the hustle (2nd qtr on). I am as big as anybody on getting rid of Jefferson but I have to give him props tonight. The offense actually worked, he didn't sit and hold it as much as usual, etc. Also, his D was bad but not nearly as bad as usual. Good job Al, please keep up this trend upwards.

Harris did a great job as well. I hope he's better by Friday because Watson is struggling big time since the injury. He is getting his lunch ate on a nightly basis.

Like I said before, it's very easy to distinguish the dumb jazz fans from the smart ones. The smart ones recognize that Al is fool's gold. Doesn't matter how many points you score if you can't do it efficiently. By the way, "but my friends think he's good!" isn't an effective counter-argument to the fact that Al gets less points than FGA's, doesn't draw fouls, and doesn't play defense. I guess it's a nice alternative to admitting that you don't understand basketball, though.

5 assists for Al. Guys cut, he made passes. Even Booner was talking about that, saying "If guys cut, Al will make the pass. Too often, guys are just standing there watching him go one-on-one."

Yes but to be fair your average fan doesn't understand the game much beyond box scores. Try explaining to them Al's poor defensive rotations, lack of boxing out, and failure to show properly on pick and rolls and they will look at you like the Aflac duck.
