Can we hold off the cornations of favors until we beat the lakers

Uh, yes there was, and you completely missed the point. No surprise.

No, there wasn't. His point, which was wrong, was that Favors is doomed to low minutes and a miniscule role due to other players being on the team and/or a coach that won't recognize contributions.

Not only has Derrick played respectable minutes as a raw player, he WAS given the starting role by the very coach Sir is accusing of burying the man. If DF can play his way out of a starting role he can play his way back in.

Really, you're better than this.

HA HA Just got this neg from siromar

I'm going to neg rep you every reset.

You're a daisy if you do!

Another neg war. That sure worked out well for Verlin!

Boozer actually was a much, much better screen-roll big for the Jazz compared to Favors right now - not even close. Not only could Booze pop, slip, and swing the ball when the defense rotated, but he could roll hard and finish strong with his left hand against 85% of the league as long as they weren't 7-footers wearing purple and gold. I just liked seeing Favors go strong and put Biedrins in the rim, because in those late-game situations so many times we've seen our bigs go soft when you have to go up strong with 2 hands and either dunk it or get fouled (or when you've got the type of explosion Favors has - both).

Thank you.

Boozer is one of the best PnR/screen-setting and scoring big that I have ever seen. Not hyperbole.

So do you still not care about the entire rep system?

I find it funny. Many of you really care about it.
I can really tick someone off by negging them.

I seriously thought that I would be in the red by now...but my numbers just keep going up.

I still haven't figured out how to trade my reps in for jazz tickets, though....

Cool. So if you don't care, why do you check?

No doubt. He and Deron ran it very well. It was all the variations that they could do off of it.
Does Boozer run pick n roll with Derek Rose? I never watch Bulls games. If not, it is a waste, but maybe Rose can't run it

Aw, that is because I get a lot of reps/negs and usually people say some funny things in them. THere is always some kind of message so I do check. But I once went a week without checking and missed a bunch of things people were saying to me.

No matter what I type it won't penetrate your hard-head. I don't doubt you know how to make bones hard. You have horrible social skills and have zero self-awareness.You will end up alone forever if you don't learn how to treat others correctly.

I mean, that is great! I really don't know how to respond to something like that. The guy sure seems put out about something.
Kind of ironic, since I was out with a chick last night who was gushing about how well I treated her, best she had been treated by a guy, and I wasn't even trying very hard. I was seriously saying "what the crap did I do?"

Boozer's still got it. I think Rose's problem is his patience and/or the game plan more than ability (though he's never terribly impressed me with his passing ability). Whatever the case, they're not using Boozer the best that they can, and that might be their biggest problem, honestly. When Boozer had sex with the Jazz last week, I saw everything that I've been missing the Jazz offense. But when Rose gets the ball, he'd rather fly towards the rim and try to make something good happen than force the defense to choose and take what the defense gives him. I can't really blame him as he converts at a really impressive rate.

That kind of ball will, again, catch up to them, IMO.

18 minutes for Favors v. 33 for Jefferson. Almost all non-injury-related rotation adjustments Ty has made this season have been to relegate the young players to lesser roles, irrespective of their performance. Look at the starting lineup right now. Look at what's happened to Kanter's minutes. While I do think there's some value in giving players a consistent, manageable role, I also think you have to reward good play at some point, especially with young players who constitute the future of the franchise. I don't think Ty's current strategy is putting his players in the best position to succeed, both in the present AND in the future. 18 minutes for Favors and 14 minutes for Kanter is simply not enough.

Really, you're better than this.
Unfortunately, you're not.

I completely agree with this.
Rose's problem is that he thinks he really is the MVP and needs to play like Jordan.
He will get exposed in the playoffs again. The guy's ego is too big and he will try to do it all himself.
