The Walking Dead

Or the fact that they never barricaded and fortified the place. Dig ditches, reinforce fences, move into the farm, secure windows and dors, have an escape plan and a rendevous place, make a triple brick wall with adobe bricks. It is a damn forrest and you have tons of water, dirt and pine needles. That and liek you said stock up on food, weapons, fuel, medicine, clothes, tools, seeds, clothes, wood...

I love the series. Don't get me wrong but the writing has been horrible in some episodes. Like the CDC one. Why show those guns when they won't pick them up? Also, I love how Glenn was using the shotgun and it was showing perfect head shots from a moving car. Made it seem so easy to just hang out a window and get head shot after head shot.

Yeah, y'all are definitely over thinking it. Which is understandable, but lame.

God damn, **** Lori. She tells Rick to kill Shane, then she is mad when he actually does it? Did she forget the part where Shane lead Rick into the woods to off him? No wonder Rick is going crazy, Lori is a ****ing succubus. Also, I just remembered the scene where Lori talks to Shane when he is working in the last episode, that probably sent Shane over the crazy hill (thinking she still wants him) and convinced him that Rick was keeping him from Lori. I hope Lori dies a slow painful death.

And why is everyone so pissed at Rick for not telling them about being infected? It really isn't that big of deal.

...the shots of them just popping zombie after zombie in the head with a handgun from a decent distance away was just ridiculous.

Not to mention while running or riding in a moving vehicle bouncing on a dirt road.

A .50 machine gun would have been nice for that zombie attack last night. Wasn't there one sitting behind on the sand bags at the CDC? Why not grab that. I know I would have.

Not to mention the nearly 100 M16's laying outside the CDC just waiting to be plucked.

Why show those guns when they won't pick them up?

I would assume that there was no ammo for the weapons. The soldiers ran out hence the reason they got overrun.

I think she was a little taken aback when Rick admitted to killing Shane but not mad. What seemed to really set her off is when Rick told her that Carl was the one that put Shane down for good, which is understandable.

Maybe being infected increases marksmanship x1000%?

I think about this stuff while I watch and I usually just ignore it because I don't want it to ruin the show for me. Everyone was pissed at him for waiting. Like you, no biggie. I don't blame him. He thought Jenner was a little crazy and He didn't have any proof. Possibly Rick didn't want to believe it but once Shane reanimated, it sealed the deal that Jenner told the truth. I like how Rick went off at the end. I hope it transitions nicely into season 3.

Do you think he is going to become crazy? Or just really staunch, but still sane? I think it is up to Lori and Carl to still show they love him. They seem afraid and mad that he killed Shane, making him even crazier over killing his former best friend. ****ty family.

I think he becomes more like Shane. Not so much crazy but just people being ingrates for what he's done will make him not so nice which I will love. Look at it from Shane's point of view....

ZA breaks out, he goes to the hospital to get Rick. Doesn't know what to do with all the commotion that is going on.
Runs to Lori and Carl to take care of them and keep them alive.
Becomes a leader of the group and keeps them safe and no one dies while He is leading them.
Then all the sudden, Rick shows up, Lori becomes a bitch, people die...
Rick takes over the group, no one seems to even care for what Shane did for them.

I can see why Shane did the things he did. I'd be pissed off too if I did all that for some one. So that's why I think Rick becomes a little like Shane.

I had assumed that they were doing the things we just mentioned but htey just didnt show it because it was boring. However in the finale they talk about not making those mistakes again. I personally would send out a a 3 man team (Glenn leads one and Darryl the other) That grabs anything and everything usuable they can find and loads a truck up and brings it back. Including those M16s becasue you never know when you will find bullets.

That's exactly what my thought process was. I'd rather have a gun with no ammo in hopes of finding ammo instead of, finding ammo and knowing I passed up the gun. That .50 cal would have been in the motorhome if it were up to me.

Because that rifle make a pretty good club in a pinch. The .50 cal is a no brainer. i would have seen about taking the actual humvees. Must sturdier then that hatchback and old truck they have. So many things I'd do different.

Honestly I do not see myself as Rick but more as Darryl. No the leader but a Beta male if that makes sense. Follow the lead (if I deem that person capable) but will say my piece and be capable of taking care of myself.

I'd rather have a fuel economic SUV like the one that Glenn is already driving. With gas in short supply a Humvee would be a disaster.

1 with a .50 cal would be fantastic. Especially if you have a safe base liek a prison...
