My confidence is pretty high that I would get my *** kicked, but I would inflict some damage.

This is severly under rated. Severely.

I was 5'1 and 90lbs in 9th grade. After the first month I hardly ever had problems. Why? It was not that I was some mastermind when it came to fighting. I lost a good share of fights. The secret is to be more trouble than they want to deal with. Some of the guys that messed with me stopped because even though they didn't like me and knew they could take me, they knew it would hurt them to do so and it was not worth it to them.

It also changes the chances of other fights. They picked on my friends and they knew they had to fight my friend and I, not just my friend. I never, ever stayed out of the fight. My friends knew I could be counted on. 80(ish)% of the time the bully/instigator would back down.

I've never been in a real fight, but I assume I would be beaten up pretty easily.

The thing that first limited my fighting ability was I was afraid to hit someone. Once that passed it is easy to go ape **** on people.

Another assumption of mine is, a scenario wherein I was protecting my family would result in a different attitude and approach than if I were just reaping the rewards of some smart *** remark I made. I wouldn't really want to hit anybody, but I figure that would change if the circumstances called for it. At least I hope so...

I think I could say the same thing here as well. I think I could win, but if not, the other guy/girl is going to be the worse for wear, I can almost guarantee it. I got into a scrap over a ward softball game about 10 years ago. Two guys jumped me in a McDonald's parking lot. I got smoked, but not before I took a HUGE bite out of the guys chest (as he laid on top of me) and I buried my finger about 2.5 knuckles deep into his eye socket. I lost the fight, but won the battle. If someone hadn't pulled the dude off me, I would probably be dead.

You would be the perfect student to hone. if you ever visit Europe i could train you for a couple of weeks :D.

Dutch, you don't understand how badly I would like to do this. If not for the $$$ required, I'd be all over it.

when u done with dutch, come over here,,i take u to the next level,,i will teach u how to kill a man by staring

I was just thinking this. If I wanted anyone to teach me self defense and fighting skills I'd choose aybars.

it's pretty fun to train guys who dont have extensive martial arts training because they trained them self exsecivly to think inside the box(the rules of their sport)
so when they come train krav maga its hard to get them outside the box. they know they dont have to abide by the rules, but sometimes the damage is done and when they get in trouble they resort to thinking inside the box agian it takes them months sometimes years to get them thinking outside the box.
but advantage those guys have is that mostly they know certain techniques(that fit inside their rulebook) that will save them in certain situation.

but you're fight(s) show that you already think outside the box(biting and fingers in eyes), that my friend could make you a deadly krav maga pracitioner(also not that krav maga "fights" are over in seconds)

I'm not real experienced with bare knuckle type brawls. But I am deceptively quick for a guy my size. I would think the trick is to just go on the offensive and never let up. I would say probably a 7.

Completely disagree. The best thing to do while fighting is to stretch your arms and turn around really quick like a helicopter. That way you can hit your opponent several times and at least block him from entering.

That is obviously a masterful strategy, but you also have to make sure you have one leg sticking out as well. It also helps if you continuously perform headbutting movements while you jump/spin around just so you can cover as many levels as possible.

I think I answered in this thread but don't remember what I said.. curious but even more lazy.

Obviously.

I'd like to think I did a ten page post in here, explaining science, religion, the universe, and why I have been able to talk both cops and crooks outta messin' with me. . . .

Also helps if you can change levels of the attacks by bending at the knee.

I'm like Carlos Boozer. I'm a bigish guy that looks like he might be able to wreck somebody but I'm softer than Charmin. I haven't been in a physical fight since my last ward basketball game in high school.
