It Gets Better at Brigham Young University

Good for them.

BTW, that first guy talking had possibly the oddest-looking nose I've ever seen. It's tilted upwards to a ridiculous degree. I just couldn't stop staring at his nostrils.

He and Michael Jackson had the same plastic surgeon....

Just wait till these kids hit there mid-twenties and the real sexual rage kicks in. This whole "things will get better" stuff will change, big time. I feel really bad for those students.

Seriously? Mine died at 25, which coincidentally, was when I got married.

This **** seriously blows my mind. They're gay. They know they're gay and can do nothing about it. Yet, they still choose to follow an institution that believes that as long as they don't act on one of the most basic and strong human instincts they may, at very least, see their family again after they die. What a worthless, degrading, and incredibly sad existence. At least there are people at BYU that feel bad for them. Yay........

Um...

I am still a Mo and love it even though it's against my religion to swear, whack off, drink Mtn. Dew, fish on Sunday, and hate going to Church. Since everyone has a different idea of what Gordon (PBUH) will judge them on, it's really not that unbelievable that there are happy gay LDS.

And more power to them and to you, my friend. But it has to be said, where the LDS Church stands currently on LGBT lifestyles will come to head for these kids eventually. I wish them well and hope they continue to be happy, but the fact that their church will not accept them as they are fully will end up hurting them, badly. It sucks.

Hey at least they are not Black.

"If the White man who belongs to the chosen seed mixes his blood with the seed of Cain (those with dark skin), the penalty, under the law of God, is death on the spot. This will always be so." - Brigham Young

Reminds me of my high school.

I went to an all-guys Jesuit (Catholic) high school. There were guys who were out on that campus, and no one really cared. A teacher, too. They just had to keep it quiet, not form any kind of GSA, not go to dances together, etc, but only so some parent wouldn't complain and bring the bishop down on our heads. No harm, no foul.

And how do you feel about, say, Catholic priests and nuns who also choose to remain celibate? Are their lives similarly worthless, degrading, and sad?
