This is where a guy like Austin Rivers could come in, someone with a handle like that can probably get into the lane and make things happen. We still need Derrick Favors to become a dominant go-to player in the post, but I'm still optimistic about that happening.

Really feel like this attitude (with talent of course) is what we need to draft right now. Drafting the alpha dog, leadership, "it factor" should be the #1 priority no matter what position. Can Lillard bring this to the Jazz?

I TOTALLY agree. As far as Lillard .. meh, on that.
 
Millsap shows us why he needs to stay. I bet we trade AJ because he has value - and no more Harris. Whomever we draft, the pair needs to play defense...

PS. Eric Gordon schooled the Jazz tonight.

Austin River is about as explosive as Hayward is. He is quicker and has a better handle, but Rivers struggled to finish at the rim against college defenders.
 
If the Jazz could draft two out these three I would be ecstatic: Lilliard, Marshall, and Lamb.
 
My trepidation with Rivers was his not being a PG but rather a 6'4" SG.
Eric Gordon is a 6'3" SG and yet he is awesome.

I don't mean to compare the two - I don't have enough info to feel comfortable doing that. All I'm saying is having a guy who can hit big shots would be pretty sweet. And hopefully that guy can play PG, but if not so be it.

NOTE: I'm still of the opinion Jazz should use their SECOND lottery pick (if they get it) on whatever GUARD is left (Marshall, Lillard, Rivers).

This team needs pieces more than it needs a 4 game *** kicking by OKC or SA in the first round of the playoffs.
 
Tell you what, Eric Gordon is a stud. There's a lot of Deron Williams in him, and that first step is just ridiculous. He has amazing court vision as well. Stone blooded killer.

On the Jazz, yeah we'll get our pick this year. I just hope its enough to get Marshall.
I really hope someone else on the Warriors steps up, cause with David Lee out...that's it for them.
