West probably had a gun.
Examples??? Or with all do respect, stfu.
Dirty?
And for a point of reference, Stock was at times a dirty player imo. Hayward not so much.
Like I said, they are small things that happen that aren't easily noticeable, things that may be said. I guess you have never played basketball. I doubt West just decided to pick on him because he is the white boy.
I never called Hayward dirty.
I know, that's why I asked.
I guess some could call it that. I don't. I do not think he takes it to that level.
Hayward isn't a fighter.
Here is a trick for you. If you think you are going to be in a fight keep one hand by your face. "Scratch" your nose, or rub an ear or something. That way if you think it is going to become a fight you can throw out a hammer fist right into their nose and therby crontrol the fight and possibly escape unhamred. YOu hit them just right and their eyes will tear up or they will pass out. Then you can get away or restrain them. That is a trick that bouncers use all the time.

That kinda crap is meant to take an opponent's mind off his game. Ignoring it and keeping his focus on the game was Hayward's best and most appropriate response. It led to a huge W for the Jazz.
Probably the coaches didn't see it, so I'm not sweatin' it.
I remember the old Celtics under Red Auerbach were full of tricks to distract opponents from their normal game. Gamesmanship is just part of the game, so long as there's no intent to injure a guy.
Players who are good at doing it take it right at the line, and park it. Refs can't call anything and players hate it. Harpring was the king of this.
No he wasn't. He was a dirty, slimy player. Watching him made me embarrassed half of the time. Made KG look like King Kong.
Yeah, but did the refs ever call that much against him?
