Best Big Al trade

I couldn't possibly see Jefferson going anywhere except to a bottom tier team desparate for offense.

New Orleans, Charlotte, Toronto, Cleveland - maybe Detroit.

What established playoff team has the time and inclination to try to work a player like Al into their set offense?

Only fit I can see is Houston, if they would trade scola for a crappy (but defensive) PF.

Is there any other Inside Out team in the NBA? Charlotte and NO don't seem to have any style.
Houston is the only one I can think of.

New Orleans for Eric Gordon
Charlotte for... Kemba Walker AND Dj Augustine.. and trade exception.. and cash.
Toronto for DeMarr DeRozan and Jose Calderone
Cleveland for, well, there's Irving. But he's off the plate unless we want to take on some crap contracts, and give them picks.
Detroit for Bynum and/or Stuckey?

Most of those teams are eastern conference. What about in the west?

Warriors for Curry would be an AK contract all over again. What about for Klay Thompson and fillers?

My favorite so far is to the Kings for Marcus Thornton. The thought of Jefferson and Cousins together would get them excited, and be good for Cousin's development. Trade some pieces back and forth, I came up with Jefferson and Burks for Thronton and Salmons. Loosing Burks sucks, but getting back two very, very serviceable perimeter guys(one with talent, one with experience) makes up for it.

Monty Williams indicated the Hornets need to add size during the offseason.

New Orleans is slotted fourth and tenth in the upcoming draft lottery.

“I could foresee us drafting a big, but there are a couple of guards in this draft that are pretty good with a high upside,” Williams said Sunday. “It’s one of those situations where the pick will dictate all of that, and (General Manager) Dell (Demps) may have a situation where he may want to trade the pick to get a veteran player. We’re still not sure. We’ve got to find out where we’re going to draft.”

Jefferson and next years 1st rounder (top 5 protection just in case) for Okafor and the later of New Orleans lottery picks.

Utah does it too get a lottery pick and improve defense.

New Orleans does it too give their team legitimate offense. Also Jefferson makes a good pair if they land Davis. Also, rids them of the extra year that is Okafor's contract, allowing them to potentially sign some big name FA's in 2013. Also, they get an extra 1st rounder next year to compensate for the loss of this years.

I still think this trade makes enough sense for New Orleans to consider it.
