What's new

Brandon Jennings?

I like the fact that Jennings can break down guys but I don't see his style being a good fit.

That's pretty much how I feel about Jennings. While he's a better player and has more upside than Harris, I think the net result would be pretty much the same if we swapped the two. Still a round peg in a square hole.

I'd want him in 5 years, maybe. You could count the NBA'ers with more raw talent than Jennings on two hands.

But for now - no, no, no.

I seriously don't think Corbin can handle Jennings antics with the Jazz. It just wouldn't work out. I like Rondo as well, but why would he want to play for us?

We have to find a way to draft a humble young rookie that we can shape.

Well, we're certainly narrowing it down a bit. We need a PG that is;

- Humble
- Young
- Pass-first
- A shooter
- Decent defender

Well, that means we're competing with around 20+ other teams for .. no one.

Hasn't Jennings been playing for Scott Skiles, who is a notorious hard-***?

In 5 years he'd be like who Devin Harris is now.

They are pretty different players in my opinion. Harris has always been a pure driver/ball pusher. Just look at his career FTA per season, they completely blow Jenning's out of the water.

Also, Harris has never been a chucker. He averaged 15 shots one season, and that was by far the most he has ever done per game.

I'm talking about the decline in athleticism. And unless Jennings increases his 3pt shooting accuracy they could both be just as bad as each other.

No. If Harris had taken as many shots as Jennings this year, he would have averaged 22 points.

The only thing I can admire about Jennings is that he hardly ever turns the ball over. That is probably because he doesn't pass it that much.

He is pretty average to below average at everything else.

Beggars can't be choosers, but I really don't think we should settle for someone like Jennings as our future PG. I'd much rather have Knight, Marshall, or Lillard. There has to be a way we can get our hands on one of them.

Jennings is the Nick Young of the PGs. Come on, nobody has watched the Bucks games? He started to his NBA career as a chucker, still chucks passionately, and looks like he will always be a chucker.
