What do you guys think? How likely is it?

I'm going 50/50. The most likely being the Houston pick and using it for Marshall/Lillard if they do fall that far. Draft day type trade.

I cringe asking this .. what's the best guess for where we wind up next year (draft)?

HATING MYSELF for asking.

I think somewhere between 8-12 with the Warriors pick. No way they make the playoffs. Our pick will be something in the 18-22 range.

Lets just cut to the chase and start discussing Devin Harris

Ill start.

Maybe he will be a lot better next year with training camp and all that. Do you think he should play over or under 24 min?

If he's on the team, and he will be, over ..

This is my thread - sit down Blues.

I am sitting down, thank you. And I got to say this is a very nice thread. Good job. I mean that sincerely.

Chances are slim we draft this year, unfortunately. :(

I really hope we do. It would be so fun. I love the draft. Its like Christmas.

That still is pretty cool. At least we get to space out our rookies. I think that has some benefits.

Yeah, it's a small positive, but I see the benefits. Hopefully our current young players can establish themselves and we will have a clearer vision of the future of the team and it's needs moving forward.

I think drafts tend to get easily overrated/underrated before the players even step on the floor. I know people say 2013 is going to suck, but you never know, there may be a diamond in the rough. Either way, adding a lottery pick next year is going to be something that helps the team and is going to give us a talented player on a cheap 4 year contract. I wish it could have happened this year, but it's not like the player we get next year is going to be completely worthless.

Hopefully we can somehow package our two picks next year and move up in the 2013 draft if there is a player we need that is projected a couple spots ahead of us.

I was thinking that too. Good post

Feel the love brother, feel the love.

Highly disappointed that the Jazz didn't edge out the Warriors for the eighth pick, but I still love the draft. I think it is an exercise in decision making. There are organizations that have continually made bad decisions and continually end up in the draft.

I always pick a player that has "bust" written all over them and see who picks them. My player this year is Andre Drummond. Draft Express has the Kings taking him at 5. I highly doubt the Kings would take a center with a #5 pick. Who will be tempted by his height and potential?... Here are my bust predictions.

Bust:
Andre Drummond
Jared Sullinger
PJ3
Austin Rivers

Sleepers:
Tyler Zeller
Damian Lillard
T. Jones
Fab Melo
Jeff Taylor
Machado
