Trade idea

The more I hear about MKG, the more Ronnie Brewer screams out at me. The only difference I see between Brewer and MKG? MKG played with 4 lotto picks and Brewer played on Arkansas.

You're an idiot.

Ok ive only read one page of this thread, but...

WHAT'S WRONG WITH HARRIS?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?

Thank you.

-His fit with the offense

-Not a leader

-We need a distributor

-He played well for really only MAYBE 20 some odd games and looked like he coasted through large chunks of the season

-His defense.......of lack there of.

-He's getting long in the tooth and doesn't really match the strong youth movement we have going

-Seems disinterested at times

-Looks like a Ludacris impersonator

-Was nowhere to be found in the playoffs

I'm sure theres more......

So much wrong with this post, but I agree with the overall sentiment.

Maybe, we will see. This board also has loved Sene, Whiteside, Bismack, etc.

With all due respect, those players you mentioned don't have the pedigree that MKG have. Sene and Bismack couldn't even sniff the top ten in this draft let alone top 5, and whiteside was a second rounder. MKG is not just liked by jazzfanz, but by gm's, scouts, coaches, and the media.

Please, enlighten me.

The offense at the start of the year really wasn't what it should have been with Harris playing. He would also have good games in the 1st quarter, then be subbed out for way too long in favor of Watson, then be put in for the last 3 minutes of the 2nd quarter.

I thought he was one of our better defenders for the most part. PG is the hardest position to defend, especially when you are constantly put in the PnR with Big Al.

Was our 2nd best player in the playoffs. Had a great game 3 and a good game 4.

-Your first point coincides with my point of him not being a leader. He seemed to pout early in the season or at least not give a ****. I understand the way the offense runs with Al in doesnt fit his style of play. But he knew that the last two months of the previous season. The writing wasn't written on the wall it was etched in stone. So, adapt or get with the coaching staff and find a way to fit with what the team is doing and be useful.

-I'd say Harris defensive prowess is well overblown on this board and has been ever since we traded for him. But thats my opinion.

-39% from the field, 26% from 3, almost a 1 to 1 ast to TO ratio....yeah, ole boy killed it.

With all due respect, they also loved Evan Turner, Marvin Williams, Darko, and about 100 other top 3 busts.

I'm no scout, and MKG could prove me wrong, but if you are taking him #2, he had better be a superstar. I don't see that. Now, at 10-15, I love MKG. At #2, that is a huge risk. I honestly believe that if he played at Arkansas instead of Kentucky, he is a lower rated prospect.

Hell yeah, dumbasses. Let's forget that Biyombo is already better than either of those players ever were, just finished his rookie season, and no one ever said he wouldn't be a project to begin with.

What IS MKG's pedigree, anyway? Won a national championship on the equivalent of the dream team?
