Mr. Hatch is a hero and our state wouldn't be as Great as it is without him I got to meet him with my class in the Fall and he spoke to us a little bit. It was one of the best Honors of my life I think besides meeting some of the guys on the Jazz and Usher last summer.

You consider it an honor to meet Usher. You post such random garbage, and yet in the end, it's still all garbage.

How long did they serve the United States? Were they the same roles?

I have no problem with career politicians. Just 2 terms per job like the president. Hatch can still run for President, House, Hamburgler or whatever. Just no more 30 year Senators.

You both know me enough to know I don't care for Hatch or any current career politician. The point was against all the talking point ******** pushing mindless herd voting. I only said something because Dickwing Dick is above the fray.

I'm even willing to allow for 3 term senators.

I'm a huge fan of removing the 17th.

I can remove my legislator if I care/try hard enough. If she voted for Hatch then I'd be busting her ***. It's all about small government being effective according to the people.

Washington also wasn't a big fan of political parties, which are worse now than in Washington's time. Does that make any politician bad for being part of a political party?

What makes a politician bad is that they are a politician.

I don't know that they did. I didn't pay attention to the election and didn't know the name of his challenger. Basically, I'm commenting on something I know absolutely nothing about. Blowing hot air outta my rear hole. I'm making pathetic generalized assumptions about Utah politics while taking cheap shots at the LDS religion. I'm a mindless ***, thought that was obvious.

Fixed

No offense to you personally or anything, but it drives me nuts when people who know nothing about banking and high finance think Orrin Hatch can serve us well in this position. IMO, he's nothing short of a fruit cake when it comes to everything finance committee related.

The founding fathers were all career politicians.
Jefferson left office in 1809.
Madison 1817.
Ben Franklin was a politician for 10 solid centuries before the Constitution.
John Adams was 66 when he left office.
Samuel Adams served Mass. from at least 1766 to 1797.

I see what you did there.
