What's new

Bold prediction re: Harris

not that it's central to your point, OP, but harris was actually an all-star AFTER he left dallas.

and i agree, we want nothing to do with marion.

I'm not sure why Indy wouldn't match and want Jefferson. Hibbert is THEIR player, significantly better, younger/has less mileage, and a max deal for a young player under the new CBA is probably cheaper than if the Pacers just extended Jefferson at $14-$15 million/year anyway.

But a dude can dream.

edit: kinda unrelated, but if Indiana loses Hibbert, think they would be interested in Al?

Yes, very much so. Only if they don't get Kaman though. Keep an eye on that situation. Utah is perfectly poised to get some things done.

I don't want Marion. I don't want Marion. I don't wan't Marion. Just because his release on his shot raises my blood pressure.

If we were competing for a championship then I would look at this trade. Unfortunately we are not and this does nothing to help us long term. Honestly though, it just gives us more salary. I would look at this if we got a future draft pick in the mix.

I cannot wait until Al and Devin go. Al makes every game unwatchable (ballhog offense, and the defense prowess of a paraplegic), and Harris is a poor passer. Never will a team win a title (probably even a playoff series) with players like them starting at center and point guard.

by just about any measure, he's a far better passer than mo.

not saying we shouldn't trade harris if an opportunity comes up to get some assets back... but harris is a better PG than mo.
