Take a look, very grainy at the beginning.

David Locke was born to do stuff like this. I give him props. However, he was not born to do radio play-by-play.

Thank you. That is all.

He is a small school scorer. That comes with many questionable shots taken because he is probably the only one capable of scoring points on a Murray St. or WVU.

The Jazz can always use someone that can pull up at the free throw line and hit it consistently. Harpring made a living on hitting that free throw J. He looks like he can play in the league and that's what your looking for at #47.

CJ's form (his left handed wind up) prevented him from being a good mid-range shooter. CJ seemed to be to the rim or from three player.

I hate to say this but there are a lot of flashes of CJ in his game. I do not like that one bit.

Well except CJ is bigger, more athletic and left-handed. Murphy seems to understand using picks better than CJ. But no doubt about it, CJ is a superior basketball talent. I wonder the market is low on CJ. We could resign him now that Raja is gone.

The one thing that I don't like about Locke is that he uses 2 or 3 games to completely diagnose a player. a 5 or 6 game sampling gives a much better understanding of what a players weaknesses and strengths are. Also, it would be good if they were spread out throughout the season so you can see if the player is progressing or if they are still struggling with the same things.

OMG!

Yes, let's defintely re-sign a guy whose shooting stats have DECREASED five straight years. That is difficult to do, I'll admit. Just when you think CJ's hit rock bottom, he comes back the next season even worse. Not even AK accomplished that feat with his oft-horrific shooting.

CJ is incredibly talented and athletic. I remember many reports saying he was lights-out in practice. He just can't translate that into real games. Marvin Williams >> CJ (and a better defensive player). Williams also has the size to match up against bigger SF's. Burks >> CJ and Hayward >> CJ.

Expect those 3 to get the main rotation minutes at the wings. Carroll can provide limited time as needed. Murphy will get mostly DNP's unless he's inserted for his shooting when we need a 3 pt'er to win/tie a game. No spot on the team for Chucker Smiles.

What do you want him to do? Its hard to tell, and pick out a players tendencies from random highlights. if you look at 5 or 6 games thats going to be 30 minutes of video and commentary.

Yes if he is better than our other options. Sit him behind Hayward, Burks and Marvin Williams. He can be better than Carroll.

I don't.........think...he dunked the ball once in the video. CJ is a good dunker, so there's a difference. Also, it looked like Kevin moved around a lot more than CJ. CJ seemed to want to stand there and wait for the ball, then lurch into the lane and lose it.

Anyway, he's a 47 pick in the draft. If he makes the team and fills in during an injury than it's a success at least for the first year or so. Who knows, maybe if Burks really learns to play the point, Kevin might even break the rotation.
