for what it's worth, i have heard the same thing about CJ being a frequenter of late evening entertainment establishments and/or enjoying the company of many a young utah lass... and i'm not even the clubbing type or part of that scene.
as far as what the lakers see in him, i'll go back to this point, which was made statistically by truehoop a few months ago but i can't find the link: even inefficient mid-range shooters can have a positive impact on the team's overall efficiency while they're on the floor. CJ might be a career 42% shooter, but you still have to guard him, and that creates space for kobe, pau, bynum.
That's an interesting point. I never heard before.
