It's always difficult to know how Al affected Kanter since threre was a lot in Kanter's first year that could have taken him out of his comfort zone and contributed to his tentative play--and this includes limited playing time and his Coach.

The least likely part of this whole story is the apparent certainty that Marvin will come off the bench. What's the worst thing an organization can do to a recently acquired player who has historically underperformed? Answer: give him clear signs before camp that he'll be a benchie. The FO has everything to gain by Marvin coming in hungry and looking to prove something.

Also, I'm shocked nobody has made too much of the Mo-Fav chemistry as another surefire sign that Favs is starting.
