If Kanter learns to make the smart pass, consistently, out of doubles, he'll be a very, very good post player worthy of the 3rd pick, every bit.

Katner could average double figures. So could Burks and Favors. It just depends on who gets minutes.

Burks' offensive game was efficient and under control. That was good to see.

I really am liking the Marvin Williams trade. I think he is going to be a big help to the Jazz.

Agreed. I'll admit I was worried when I learned he lost that many lb's, but it looks as though it's made him that much different. His game looks so much better from summer league.

Did Randy Foye just say it has taken awhile to learn what coach SLOAN wants him to do?

Hey I turned it over to the Detroit and Yankees game and missed why Kobe was shooting a technical near the end of the second quarter. It looked like Coach Ty was jawing with the ref a bit. What happened?

Didn't like Foye early, but he got it going good late. Hope he builds off that. I like that he seems to really want to be here.

Foye did OK tonight - his passing out of the point looks very pedestrian. Not sure that's where this guy belongs this year.

Well I'd rather see him taking minutes at pg then sg. I don't think he has spent much time the last few years at pg. I say give him time, he'll tighten it up the first part of the season. I thought he gave us a boost in the second unit.

No one on the Jazz really looked horrible tonight. DeMare is a bit of a chucker though. If Burks can make plays for others, anticipate a bit better on D, and work on his freethrows, look out! It seemed like he scored at will. I didn't see him miss a shot and that includes his offensive foul. I don't know what Corbin is going to do since Jamaal would be perfect for that second unit. I don't want Carroll to play because then Burks probably won't see the floor. I'm kind of lamenting the Foye acquisition right now.

3pt shooting is markedly improved. It's exciting. And say what you want about Foye (legitimately) but he does have the capacity to go off from downtown. He has to be respected

The Laker starting 5 may be the best in the league but their bench is atrocious.

Steve Blake and Jameson are pretty good for a bench. Plus, our biggest worry is they'll get that guy who sucks that we'll always leave open to bury threes at inopportune times.

Plus Dwight changes some things.
Plus it's preseason.

Enes in the post game--my goal is help my team win the game, if I score 30 points and we lose I will be sad, if I score 1 point and we win I will be happy.

Bolerjack--That's a good answer.

Enes--thanks I work on it a lot.
