Dwight Howards Really Sucks

If a guy on the Jazz who had foul shooting problems shot 3-14 from the foul line and doesn't even come close on most of his misses, we would be on his case so bad about him not working on his game during the off-season -- well, what has Dwight, the prima donna, Howard been doing? Oh, that's right, he has been rehabbing his back. He fits right in with Kobe and Metta.
 
I suspect Dwight isn't ready but tricked everyone with his big preseason debut. He reminds me, at the moment, of that season Amare tried to come back early and had a couple big 20 point games and then they had to shut him down.
 
I've always thought Dwight sucked. The guy has athleticism and a lot of strength, and that's about it with him.
I'd go with Bynum all day, before I ever looked at Dwight Coward.
 
The Lakers all suck. I mean, who thought a team with Kobe, Nash, Gasol, and Howard would be so dreadfully boring to watch.
 
One thing I noticed last night (other than Dwight's pathetic FT shooting and the Lakers slowness)...

Dwight really needs 3 point bombers to help spread the floor. I'm not sure if LA has that right now...

Then again, it was just 1 game.
 
An aticle I read on the Lakers/Mavs game last night singled out Nash. Said he was ineffective and that the Princeton offense removes him from beign the guy that he was in Phoenix and until he figures out his new role that the Lakers will struggle.
 
Howard sucks at FT's. The dude needs to swallow his pride and go granny style because his release is one of the ugliest and most inconsistent looking I have ever seen.

Mike Brown coaching offense is going to fail every time. The guy is a defensive coach and doesn't have the know-how to implement a team offensive system.
 
Dwight Howard doesnt suck. I would take him on my team any day. So would every other team in the NBA. But hey, what do they know?

So would I, but I would rip my hair out every time we would lose by 1-5 points and I look at the box score and Howard missed 10 ft's.

Ya but, how many games do the Jazz lose anyways because of missed free throws?

Over all, Dwight Howard does far more good than bad for his team. No player is perfect. You always have to take the good with the bad. You work around what the player can and cant do. Shaq lead teams did just fine with his poor free throw shooting.


Really this thread should be titled, Howard sucks at free throws. Thats it.

Ill take Howard over Al Jefferson any day, and Al Jefferson can shoot free throws.

There have been a few pretty perfect players. Some of them are in the league right now.

Howard sucks at more than just FT's. His post game is definitely not where it should be.

Would you like him to be more like Al Jefferson? That isnt what he is. He is a power player that doesn't need to rely on a fancy low post game. The only way you can stop him is to manhandle him and foul the **** out of him. Ya, that puts him on the line, but he still gets 1 point out of it and puts foul pressure on your team. He can give you 20 a night easily. You add that to, he is the most dominant rebounder, and defender in the league and you get the best big man in the league. So every other big man in the league must measure up lesser to him somehow, right?

Now what were you saying about he sucks?

How bad can he suck if every team in the league would value him as the best big man in the league? I think its just haterism.

Don't hate Dwight. Hate Mike Brown. My money's on him not making it through the season.

His line last night.... 15-19 on the free throw line.

Sometimes when I'm playing against my little brother I forgo my sweet post moves and just push him out of the way and dunk on his face. I think Howard will be fine.
 
I'm really looking forward to the 7th when the Lakers come to town.
