Best Places to Eat in Utah Thread

Good halibut, great lime rickeys, and cheesecake shake is da bomb.

Halibut, sweet potato fries and ice cream cone. Gotta love Arctic Circle (or Artic if you're Duck).

Cutler's is awesome - and the cookies are great. I miss the chocolate kiss in the chocolate chip ones, though.

Ate at a Mortons in Cali the other day and it was off the hook. Is there a Mortons here? I heard Spencers is good. I also heard the new Ruths Chris is really good.

I have a $50 gift certificate to Ruths Chris and but will still need another $100 to eat there. Yeah, it's awesome food but only for very special occasions... like when you win the lottery.

I had a $150 certificate to Market Street so took the wife and my sister and BIL. We ordered a lot and I thought I had it covered but it came to $250. Hahaha! Also, it was funny to park the minivan with an Aston Martin on one side and a Ferrari on the other. Lost that pic.

OK there are some solid replies ITT but im gonna take it to the next level. Cottonwood Heights has some of the best restaurants in Utah.

Lone Star Taqueria - MY fav place of all time. Both Carna Asada Tacos and Burritos are unreal.

Benvenutti - Italain Deli, place is unreal. They will serve you a 4 star restaurant quality meal for 8 bucks. Anything for Chicken Alfredo to Philly Cheese Steaks.

Dragon Isle - This hidden Gem has the best Chinese food in Utah. Located in a small shopping mall near Smiths Grocerys. Try the Pon Pon Chicken and prepare to be blown away.

Greek City Grill- Great Gyros, but they are really known for their fries. Honestly best fries ive ever had in my life. Plus D will is a regular and even has a sandwhich named after him.

Carls Cafe - Breakfast joint. Food is ok but the place i OG and pretty cheap. You can get a quality breakfast for like 5-6 bucks.

Outside of C-wood Heights...

Red Iguana - Pushing lonestar for best mexican place in utah. The Puntas in almond mole is dom dom. Also the tacos del ramon are way good. Only negative is having to wait 45 min to get a table.

In-N-out. Dont understand how people can say 5 guys or smash burger come close to even touching this place. Tip - next time you go there ask for "Well done" fries. twice as good and most people complain about In N Outs fries. Get well done and then come talk to me.

And last but not least...my Fancy pick for favorite restaurant. Francks, located next to Tuscany, Francks is the absolute best when it comes to fine dining. From Kobe Burgers to Blueberry meatloaf, if you wanna impress your lady friend this place is a no brainer. Prepare to drop a hundo ball but also be prepared to eat some of the best food you'll eat anywhere, Utah, USA, World...its that good.

In N Out Burger is the most overrated place of all time. Tastes just like every other fast food joint.

Nicolatalia's pizza on university pkwy in Provo, Just at the foot of the hill by KFC. Fantastic pizza, by far the best mahgarita around

I went there a couple of days ago, on your recommendation. Got the "mahgarita" (margarita with a Boston accent, for the benefit of people who haven't been there), with chicken. The pizza was indeed fantastic, probably the best restaurant pizza I've had since I moved away from California 10 years ago. :)

However... I felt many negative digestive effects the next day. I'm not sure if it was the tomatoes, the garlic, or something else. :-( Hopefully that isn't typical.

Hey I'm glad you liked it! I've never had any problems with it myself. But, then again, I've never gotten a chicken pizza there either. Hopefully you'll go again.

I forgot to mention Big Kahuna's Pizza in SLC. A real hole in the wall, but very good stuff. They are famous for their Kahuna Balls and they are tasty!

El Gallo Giro in Orem (though there's one in Provo, it's not as good) is the best, most authentic Mexican restaurant in the state.
The Philadelphian in Sandy has the best cheesesteak in the state.
Royal India in Sandy is likely the best restaurant in the state.

The Philadelphian is dirty, but fantastic.
