Who is the last player other than AL or Milsap to hit a big shot at the end of a close game?

Hartsock

I cant think of anyone other than AL or Paul that routinely hits shots at the end of close games. Granted they are no Kobe or MJ but if we get rid of them who will carry us down the stretch of close games?

devin harris hit a big shot in a game last year. (i dont remember who it was against, but he was laying on the court hitting his fists against the floor right after the shot)

Burks made big shot after big shot in LA against the lakers last year in the 4th quarter...... but ya millsap and jefferson definately hit more big shots than anybody else on the team.... of course they are always in the game at the end and the offense mostly gets ran through them so they are usually the ones with the OPPORTUNITY to even take the big shots.

Exactly my point, DH had 1 possibly 2 last year. Foye has had 1 maybe 2 this year, everything else since Deron got traded has been Al or Paul. They have been pretty good down the stretch also, I they are clutch players.

I have a feeling that Mo can be a clutch go to guy at the end of games as well

He has already bricked a few. I am very confident when Al and Paul take a shot in the final minute or two

He has also made multiple shot clock and quarter Enders. I am one to think he is quite capable of game winners.

Hopefully it is Burks in a couple years. I think we all know he's good at getting off shots. Making them with regularity? That's a different story

if al and sap can do it so can foye, hayward & burks.

If you need to create a shot I think Hayward and Burks are very viable options. Foye would only work if he was open via a set play or a drive and kick IMO. I don't think he can create his own shot very well.

My approach to the last shot of a game is to typically give the ball to the best playmaker, and take the best shot possible. Whoever shoots it is irrelevant, as long as it's the best shot available. That's just my opinion though, I realize many will differ.

Just because Al and Paul are good at clutch shots doesn't mean we need to keep them. They're a big reason we suck defensively-- like, a huge, huge, huge reason. Like, the biggest reason on the team.

You know how many NBA games come down to the last 2 minutes? A lot of them.

All the more reason to have a better defense for those close games, right? You can support both opinions on that one.

Thats fair, but I maintain that in the NBA where the rules and referees favor offense so much it is better to have a good offensive threat at the end of the game. Favors D down the stretch was huge though.
