NBA Columnist/Cavs Insider Sam Amico: "Jazz have made Burks available"

Sounds like Corbin is giving another player the silent treatement. Always a wise move when you manage people for a living.

Sucks when it's a guy (most of us) like - isn't it?

Burks wants to go to a place where he can grow and succeed. Ty has made it clear that the Jazz is not that place for him. This is absolutely dreadful.

Screw this, Im going to bed. When I wake up, I hope that I go back on Jazzfanz, and realize that this was all a part of a bad dream. My God.

I just don't understand the thought process behind building a team through A.Gathering a bunch of lottery picks, and then B.Bringing in veteran talent that was not living up to expectations on their former teams. Why work so hard to get lottery picks if they are useless? Is that what is going to happen if we get possibly two lottery picks this year? Waste them both with bench spots?

Nothing to get worked up about. Nobody said the Jazz were having a fire sale on Burks.

I would think all our players are available for the right price.

It's much worse than it first appears, it's a sign of a disfunctional organization. Please consider: Last year Bell was taking away playing time from our young guns, and when Corbin tried to cut Bell's minutes, Bell got pissy. So this year the Jazz FO made it very clear that Bell can collect his paycheck while lounging on the beach, so that his minutes can go to ... Foye?

The Utah Jazz FO: No plan, no commitment, no clue.

I like Burks and all, but cmon, he hasn't shown us that much. If we can package him with Sap, Mo, or Jefferson, and get a legit PG or SF, I would be down.

Kirk Snyder was a lotto pick as well. Could be a re-run of that situation, could be mismanagement of young talent. No idea.

If true this puts the final nail in the coffin on whether or not we blew it by not taking Leonard who most felt was a no-brainer pick. In either case that they a) trade away talent that they've let sit on the bench or b) did a poor job picking their man two drafts ago, neither one bodes well for Jazz managent.
