Rondo Obsession?!

What's with the constant Rondo talk? There is no way in hell he winds up here. He is a top 5 point guard at worst. Danny Ainge is not retarded. He won't be trading him any time soon for anyone not named Lebron, Wade, Ect. We have nothing that would intrigue Boston.

We are?

A lot of folks around here still hold Al Jefferson close to their hearts. Myself included. He's now an NBA veteran who has battled injuries and has his share of flaws that have been exposed over the course of his contract (that many would argue was too much for him). But at the end of the day, he's one of the best scoring and rebounding big men in the NBA and that's always a good thing to have on your squad. He's going to be a free agent at the end of the year and while he's got great things to say about the Utah Jazz organization, he obviously still loves Boston and would be open to a return trip.

Rondo for Jefferson right meow.

rondo is one of the three favorite playmakers of mine near to d will and kyrie. jazz got d will and lost him. a bad example for other playmakers. jazz should get a top 5 draft pick out of a trade and get a skilled pg rook for themselves.

Okie dokie. Like who?

that, i do not know. but couldn't be too hard to fulfill it.

Ya think?

Let me help. There are zero good PG prospects in this upcoming draft. (good = anywhere within the realm of those you named above)

Next year's draft, there are MAYBE two, most likely one. Andrew Harrison .. and he'll likely be a top3.

Most everyone on this board will attest that I have obnoxiously been yelling, for 3 years, to find a great PG through trade/FA because A) it's a spot that will not get adequately filled through the draft, and B) Point guards will once again become a major premium dollar position due to a major drought at the position.

So, in short, I disagree. If you want an elite PG, you'll need to find one via trade/FA.

tough luck. I thought college basketball there would be overflowing with pg talents seeing all those young pg's take over the league, but you are far more aware of the situation than me. still, europe is also another option for that problem. but they usually wanna get overpaid. that is the hard part there.

Jazz didnt lose Dwill...lol..they got rid of him...and how is that a bad example to other playmakers?vwhere do you guys come up with this stuff?

what good did getting rid of him bring to the jazz?

Go back under please.

I'll do that. and u keep burying your head like an ostrich by denying that not having deron instead of having is a bad thing.

Are you trolling? That is the most stupid argument you can be making. Of course we would be better with Deron .. we also wouldn't have half the team we have otherwise .. AND Deron would have left the Jazz anyway. I swear if you counter that trolling-style, I'll neg the hell out of orangello!

Jazz fanz obsession starts with games like he just had 20 assists. However, you are right there is no way in hell the Jazz can get Rondo.

I'm not trolling but you could at least try saying things right away rather than pushing some wannabe sarcasm all the time. I said that after D-Will experiment, the guards alike qualitywise in the league might not look the Jazz a great place to be. Jazz might get Favors, and I do believe he's not just the future of the Jazz but the whole league, but Deron saying "The organization was too predictable, too normal, too stuck in its ways." is bad advertisement for the team. And I think that is an accurate definition of Jazz's problem. The organization needs a revolution to get out of that rhythm. Some poster asked how the hell Jazz could not win a title with John and Karl on the roster all those years. I think the biggest problem is the one that pushed Deron away, not competing with MJ. Now after a time passed since Sloan's been gone, I can see it more clear. Without Sloan, change struggles fail. Sap will go, Favors will go, Burks will go, Evans might go with this thing on. I mean how can you not see Corbin being in the exact motivation of saving his *** every single day with guaranteed formulas instead of risking many things for true success?
