Alright guys.. here's the poll.

Let's face it, Corbin is not even in the same league as these other coaches. Plus no big name coach is coming to Salt Lake. Plus Sloan was in the stadium at tonight's game - so clearly he has nothing better to do with his time. And Phil Johnson is clearly wasting his talent as a commentator. Just give them a call.

What do you guys think?

By the way I've intentionally left out "Bring in big name coach" or "Bring in another NBA coach" or "Recruit a coach from college" for the reason that it's just not Jazz's style to do that. It's more likely that we'd either bring back someone we trust or promote from within.

Then the Jazz will be the definition of mediocrity for many years to come.

Trade for Rondo and make him coach.

Sloan had better players in his disposition and still could not win anything. Losing record in playoffs. You guys who want him back are crazy.

LOL.. Greg Miller just had to restrain Corbin after he got hit with a Technical for arguing a call.. (Denver's game)

That's the first time I've seen an owner having to restrain a coach!!!

I would rather have just johnson without sloan.... you should have put that option.

Nobody has long term memory on the board. X'cept for me, I remember the same number of people pining for Sloan's retirement/firing as there is for Corbin. 'He's old fashioned', 'he doesn't play rookies', 'his rotation doesn't change for matchups/who's hot'.

Forget all that? Really? Frankly, now Corbin is easily as good as late career Sloan, and Corbin still has tons to learn and time to learn it.

I love Sloan. Love him. LOVE HIM!

But I love what Sloan was. He isn't "Sloan" anymore. It's a sad fact of life. It happens to the best of us... to all of us eventually.

We can't have "Sloan" back because he doesn't exist anymore.

Well said.

Sloan looks like he's 102 years old.

I'm not a lip reader but I could of sworn he said "where am I?" to his great, great grandson sitting next to him tonight.

I think Harpring was trying to nicely say Sloan should stay retired

Stop gocking troll. Sloan made a living at getting more from less. GTFO!!!!

He overachieved in 1 season only. Argue all you want but losing record in playoffs is nothing to be proud about especially when you had Stockton and Malone for so long. If not Stockton and Malone Sloan would have never lasted so long in UTAH, just ask Chicago where he tried to coach and got canned pretty quick.
