Losing Interest

Unfortunately? If he turned out to be Tyson Chandler, I'd be ecstatic. I've been saying that his defense and rebounding is exactly what is needed and any offense he gives is gravy. I'll take a guy like that all day, every day.

When we traded for him I believe everyone had hoped or assumed that he was going to be that "franchise" big man who were were going to build around both offensively and defensively. I'll be down with him being Tyson Chandler as long as we have someone else who can score...

If Kanter can be that offensive punch, then we'll be fine.

I'm so tired of the same ol same ol. I know what Millsap and Jefferson can do and where they'll lead us. I'm ready to unleash Favors (30+ mins or until he fouls out) and Kanter 25+. I want to see Burks play at least 20+ and probably even start. Lets get to work to build and develop a contender... A vision completely lost this year by management.

I too find myself caring less and less about the games. I feel like the Jazz management has become passionless since Larry passed. Greg only seems to care that the team is "good enough" to not lose too much money and win a little more than they lose. As a Jazz fan, the one thing I want is a championship. Either for the Jazz to be competing for one, or building so that they can. This team is doing neither. Its treading water. Sure, its not dead on the bottom of the pool, but it ain't no Michael Phelps either.

Its time cut the Cord on Millsap and Jefferson, on Watson and Tinsley and on coaches who would rather play Demarre Carrol over Gordon Hayward and Alec Burks. The goal is a championship, not to be slightly above average. That means DEVELOPING your youth and finding out what they actually are, not hoping that watching Big Al from the bench will somehow turn them into a capable scorer. Al and Paul will NEVER lead us into championship contention. Its been obvious for at least two years. No amount of complimentary pieces will change that fact. The Jazz have to acquire or develop a star who can lead this team. Paul and Al are preventing that from happening, so they must go.

Until the Jazz prove to me that they are serious about putting together a team that can contend, my interest will remain peripheral at best. I'm not going to pay to go to a game, but I'll show up when my work gives me tickets. I want to feel like the team is actually has a plan and is improving. I haven't felt that in a while, and until I do, I can see myself getting emotionally invested in them.

The Thriller is right.

I am sick of this team.

To tell you the truth, I'm already sick of the next team too.
Lindsey should skip the next phase and just blow this thing up.

That would make things more exciting.

I'm just too smart to not know what's coming and know how it will play out, and I don't like it one bit.

LOL, you're so predictable.

Trade Jefferson/Millsap.

And do something which fans have been wanting for 2 years now, PLAY AND DEVELOP THE YOUNG KIDS!

Remember those OKC comparisons? When will we start to play like OKC and play guys like Burks, Kanter, Favors, major and meaningful mins?

I really don't blame Greg for the current state. Even though Larry loved the Jazz he still was quoted as saying it much more important to make money, than win championships. Saying that comment says something about him. Still he did love the Jazz, slightly behind money, and power.

Greg is cut from the same mold, only he is younger, and will take more chances. Sloan left, Deron traded. A lot of happened since Greg Miller took over.

I don't think he will wait as long as his father to fire a coach.

So when are you going to answer the questions I asked you a few posts ago? Or are you just going to make personal insults?

Just trying to figure out how negative interest works. You already stated a year ago you had zero interest. Now you're in here chiming in with the less interest crowd. Maybe you could picket ESA with Gyp/Wes?

Another road loss.

Another game in which Jefferson doesn't box out or play defense.

Another game in which Millsap is ineffective.

Another game in which vets were played too much and young players could have played.

The sad thing is these youngsters are some of the most exciting we've ever had.

I'd rather win or lose with them. Pointless to play out the Big Sap show. We all know it ends in a depressing WTF moment.
I want the alternate ending damn it

We could have done that last year & getting a 12th pick in the process (and possibly trading up to get Lillard). Plus Favors, Kanter & Burks would have a bit more experience.

Oh well.. hindsight...

Like someone else mentioned a while ago (PKM), this is not hindsight. This is what a good majority of the posters here were calling for.

winning does not matter.
it's caring, fighting to win, leave it all out on the floor.
9-9
reminds me of the 41-41 jazz.
difefrnce was that jazz left it all out on the floor. fought their balls of.

needles to say jefferson jazz aint the 41-41 jazz.
jefferson does not care

All I know is being in the Philippines I rarely get to watch the Jazz and a couple of weeks ago I got to watch them. They were playing so pathetic on the road that I fell a sleep. I could not believe I did that, but who wants to watch a team giving such a poor effort.
