Trade proposed on ESPN

If Love would extend I'm interested, but not sure how I feel about it yet. Portland would kill this deal.
 
Give up Favors for Love?
Not sure about that.
Then Jazz have Jefferson, Kanter, Love at the PF C rotation.
How would that work?
 
I think it's a good all around trade. Minny get's the worst of it. But we get the BEST power forward in the league. I love Favors and there are very few people I'd trade him for. Love is one of them. Of course Love would have to extend.

Oh my bad, I wasn't saying I wanted anything to do with Aldridge and when I said they would "kill" I meant they were making a killing with this deal.

I didn't scroll down on the link to see the Portland trades so I just thought this Portland stuff was coming out of left field.

That Portland trade would suck for us.

Kanter and Love starting, and hopefully Jefferson becoming the second coming of Big Thurl and coming off the bench to drop 15-20 a night on the garbage that passes for back-up centres in this league.
 
The fact that Love plays no defense kind of kills any lust I might have. Bigs have to defend.

Its intriguing for sure. We still cant be 100% sure what we have with Favors. He at least looks like a good defender, but his lack of growth offensively is just a little worrisome. We dont even know if he can ever be anything better than he is. Its all speculation at this point. Love is a certified bad ***. But Favors could end up being a better player because of his defensive abilities. Tough to call.
 
Why are we Helping Portland become a dominant team? The Jazz don't make out well in this trade. Love's a great offensive PF but I would not trade Favors for him. This trade makes Utah a worse team. Now and in the future.

I'm with Hack, Favors is still hit or miss and questioning that now during his 3rd year is a bit scary. Love is a 100% sure bet what you're getting 20/10 at least just about every night. If Favors pans out and is slightly less of a player than Love I still think he could be a better fit here so I'm hesitant on the deal, but at this moment Love is a far superior player.
