The potential of our Favors-Kanter frontcourt? A couple of questions

You started posting more recently and you need to stop. Please fall back into obscurity.

Why because some jackass Internet tough guy said so?

You are more than welcomed here by some Lunatic. Please continue to post.

Yes they do and to sugest otherwise is foolish. They simply come to a different conclussion than you. Heaven forbid.

No, they blatantly ignore what consequences would come of their demands. They dismiss these as nothing when they are required of running a home business, let alone an NBA team.

I don't think the jazz will make any moves. They will let them expire.

If they re-sign Al i will be taking a break from the Jazz until his contract expires. I hope this doesn't happen.

I have to admit that I have had the same thought every time I watch the Jazz play.

Meanwhile you blatantly ignore the consequences that comes from not playing the youth..... whatever man

Based upon past experience, if Jefferson and Millsap leave, then the GM will bring in a veteran C and PF, who are in the twilight of their careers, to fill the void. And then Corbin's Law will dictate that both of these veterans will start over Favors and Kanter.

And that's just the way it is in Jazzland.

I read about every other post in this thread and am not sure what it's really about..

summary, please?

A Favors/Kanter frontcourt right now would put us in the lottery. A Favors/Kanter frontcourt next season would also put us in the lottery, but that could go 2 ways: 1) lots of early losses followed by exciting development; 2) lots of early losses followed by neither of them developing a dependable offensive game.

I expect the Jazz to roll out Favors/Kanter next season. But I'm not seeing enough out of either of them to make me feel hopeful about it.

I disagree about the year two thing. If that duo was given a chance at 30+ minutes a night starting now, I believe that they would improve enough to be fighting in the playoffs next year.

A wing with reliable and slashing offense + a set-up PG would go a long way in proving you wrong. We should be using Al, Paul, and probably Marvin to get those chips.

But, yeah, if we were to lose Al and Paul for nothing, and sign nobody, and continue to run dumbdumb post iso horsecrap, then we will get hammered. No stretch there.
