TRADE Big Al + Watson + Raja for Cousins + Fredette ...

I would make that trade. No way in hell do the Kings make it. Cousins may be a headcase. But a front line rotation of Favors, Cousins with Kanter off of the bench would be fantastic. Then just need to trade Millsap and Fredette for a legitimate PG and we'd be set.

Favors and Cousins on the same team would be pretty intense. But I think Kanter could get close to Cousins' level offensively, and he has more intangibles.

On the RealGM board there are a number of teams interested in Al, including Phoenix, Houston, OKC, Boston, Milwaukee and Denver.

Please forward to Lindsey. See if you can interrupt:

Oh .. and I do think Cousins is a real talent, but as I have said many times, he needs a strong coach and a strong on-court leader.

That's not here.

His stock is at an all-time low. Time to make an offer. Jazz clearly aren't going anywhere with Jefferson and Millsap leading the team. As a former "bad boy, " let Tinsley take Cousins under his wing. Sure, it's rolling the dice, but I'd offer Jefferson + the GS pick for Cousins.

I'm really over the idea of Cousins here basically under any pretense. Dude's poison junk until further notice.

Not that we could land him with Jefferson + other stuff, but if that were the case I see that as big success as he could be buried on the bench when we finally open up the front court minutes. Or trade him for a draft pick. In any case, the primary goal of any move the Jazz make should most definitely be to free up minutes for Favors and Kanter. If the only feasible move that accomplishes that is firing Corbin then at least that's within our grasp. Hypothetically, at least.
