What's new

Get ride of somebody.

Make some trades or waive somebody. It is so frustrating to see Marvin start the game hot only to be benched the 2nd quarter. Burks get's 2 min a game if they are blown out (which at this point might start adding up). Plain and simple Tinsley and Watson suck. Pick 5 guys and a 6th man and get on with it. We hardly ever have anyone pushing 40 minutes cause we have to many decent, just not star players.

I am starting to come around that the coaching on this team sucks. The rotation needs to be tighter. Since we have all these guys that apparently deserve minutes in Corbin's eyes then it is time to get rid of some people to force Corbin to tighten and increase minutes.

The coaching and management of this team needs to get it straight that we are not contenders. At this point were not even pretenders.

P.S - It would be nice to be able to edit the subject that should read RID, lol.

Mo Williams. Please. He has now been hurt twice and we are not even half way through the season and the offense just is awkward when a SG is trying to be a PG.

What kills me is looking around the league and seeing Harrison Barnes, Klay Thompson, Greg Monroe, Dion Waiters, Tristan Thompson and many other young players starting for there respective sides and quickly progressing as players whilst we are content to let our young talent ride the bench.

These teams will fly past the Jazz in the next few years and we will be stuck middle of the road again.

I would happily accept a few more loss's and watch our future develop than the rubbish we are producing now.

Corbin. 1st thing that needs to happen. Once again Favors is playing really good. Has the highest +/- on the team only to be benched and have the game get out of hand 5 possessions later.

If that would even happen. I'm not convinced that Foye> Burks. Or that Jefferson and Millsap are > Favors and Kanter.

I agree with this. I did not like Foye in the preseason but soon after the season started I got on board cause he was hitting a lot of 3's and playing pretty well. Now I don't feel that Foye is a starter and it seems like he is going to become inconsistent. Beyond the 3's what does he really do? I'm not talking stats but rather what he does like driving to the lane, creating fouls, setting up other guys. He really just sit's out there waiting for the three. I would rather have Burks who may not be as good of a shooter driving to the basket and getting fouls. I have not given up on Foye yet but he's on the radar.

I don't mind Jefferson when he is on and having a monster game but I can't stand players in any sport that for everything they do they do 2 others stupid things. Jefferson will have a huge game and then take a week off. Drives me nuts.

I used to love Millsap. Not because of the scoring but rather his hard work and rebounding. Lately I feel like he just doesn't have that fire anymore. Sure he still has a good avg on his rebounding but again stats don't tell everything. It used to be almost every game I would be fired up about the small guy (for a PF) and some crazy rebound he just did. That hardly happens anymore.

At least when Favors/Kanter are playing I expect stupid things from lack of experience, but they are always doing something that amazes me.

My thinking as well. Especially with more draft picks coming and cap space!

If they can't get it together with brand new PG (who been hurt quite a bit already) after 28 games it's time to blow this MFer up. What are they like 3-25?

I called this in the game thread. As soon as Millsap came in I knew we didn't have a chance.

I remember when the Jazz got Jefferson that I was worried about his injury history. Now I'm begging for Jefferson to miss time on this team.

Do not misinterpret what I am saying. I am not asking for Jefferson to get hurt. I am saying that there are only two ways that Jefferson will not get time, trade or injury. I'm getting more and more worried that Jefferson is not going to get traded so I am publicly asking Jefferson to fake a season ending injury. Corbin needs help to save his team from himself.

yup! /circlejerk

Foye has looked almost exactly like Roger Braille lately.

This team is boring.

You hit it nail on. This team is way boring! When someone does get on fire like Marvin last night they get benched! Since we are going nowhere soon with our road performances, management needs to blow some fire under someone.

If you have any dialogue to add to this discussion besides a straw-man argument, please let us know. To my knowledge, nobody on this forum (despite how ill informed it may be) has ever argued that we're lottery-bound. I think it's broadly accepted that we're a 7-8 seed looking at a hard first round bump. People's problem is that we're significantly sacrificing future development to maintain a status quo. If you would begin by actually demonstrating why this argument is false it'd go a lot further to demonstrating your point rather than the sensationalist argument of mocking an opinion that nobody here has.
