Meanwhile, I get to work outside in it; whether it's 12 degrees or 112 degrees. Cry me a freaking river.
Same here - my job (meter reader) means I walk around outside for about 7 hours a day, regardless of the weather. Today it was 40.6 degrees C (105 deg F) and tomorrow is predicted to be 44 deg C (111 deg F). To make it more fun, I can't wear shorts or short sleeves - long pants and long-sleeve shirts are mandatory, to protect from sunburn.

Do you live in hell or something?

Has anybody been to aruba? Im going there in a couple months and was curious of what others thought about it.

Yeah, I went to Aruba. The parts that I went to sucked. I was on a cruise boat. We drove through the middle of the island which was really dry and reminded me of driving through Nephi, UT. We went shopping at a mall and then to the beach. I think that the beach is called baby beach. Whatever the case here is a picture of the beach experience that I had there:

The island probably has a lot more going for it than a factory - beach experience, desert, and a mall. But those are just three places to avoid during your trip.

Has anyone been to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia? I am going there for work soon.

How nice is your friend's timeshare? I've never been to Aruba, but I have been on long flights and ended up in places that I didn't think were worth seeing in the end that I was curious about. That's always a bummer. It would still would be cool to be with your friends anywhere probably, but you guys could get on one of those Caribbean cruises for a week for the same price as your plane tickets. Might be more worthwhile for your friend to just eat the timeshare costs and go on a cruise if Aruba is as Wonderbra claims.

I used thier timeshare last year in cancuun and it was REALLY nice.... dont know if that means it will be as nice in aruba or not.
Regardless, they have already decided that they are going there so my wife and i will be going due to the low price for us..... plus i have been on 5 cruises and though i loved everyone of them (except the 3 day cruise to ensanada mexico) I enjoyed the trip to cancuun last year much more.
