there is a game tonight at 8pm Mtn against the Trailblazers.

Sit back and buckle up, 'cause we're in for another ride...

I will be PISSED if Corbin plays Kanter 5 minutes again, because that's 5 less minutes of Al Jefferson development and we can't afford that.

Did you guys know Tom Selleck was originally to play Indiana Jones in Raiders and likely, thereafter? How badly would that have sucked?

Still don't know results of MRI, but Jazz guard Earl Watson (right leg injury) did not travel to Portland today and won't play tonight.

That Rodney Stuckey trade for Milsap is going to have to go down soon.

Hayward did travel with the team, but is not expected to play. He is still experiencing pain in his shoulder.

So Tinsley is our only PG, huh? It's nights like these where you really appreciate having a logjam in the frontcourt and no depth whatsoever in the backcourt.

I have given out too much rep, sorry.

Ugh its like I really want to like a Millsap-Stuckey trade, but then I look at Stuckey's stats and its just like aww c'mon. 38% shooting 29% 3pt shooting. We're better off with Burks and Tinsley.

Edit: In conclusion, I like the idea, but there has to be someone better.

Stuckey is only one year younger than Millsap, and owed $8.5mm next season. Even if Earl and Mo are done for the season, the Jazz are better off playing Millsap some minutes at the 3 and sliding Burks and Foye to the 1 than trading for and playing Rodney Stuckey. Jazz aren't making stupid trades for cosmetic reasons; they still want to make the playoffs.

LOL maybe kanters minutes get increased by once again
so 6:47 minutes for today

his minutes might steadily increase

So, have they confirmed yet if Wesley Matthews will be sitting out tonight? Or perhaps Ronnie Price?

Going to the game tonight, but my main worry is Portland doing what they always do at their place and shooting 100% down the final few minutes. Having one of their starters injured helps (since their bench players don't really do anything when they're on the court) but they all get improbably accurate once they get their usual late-game home momentum and the crowd starts cheering and jumping. They have lost exactly one fourth quarter since the Minnesota game January 5th, and that one lost fourth quarter doesn't really count because it was the Clippers game where they went 10-0 over the last two and a half minutes of the game and won by 1.

Basically, combine that with our usual late-game collapses, and we really need to be up 30-something going into the half.

The good news of the night is Burks will get a lot of playing time. I just hope he proves himself worthy of more minutes.
