demar derozen or Landry fields interest you? a few random thoughts

I was looking at the roster for Toronto and these 2 players seem the odd men out.

derozen couldn't shoot to save his life but to be honest he is the kind of spark plug off the bench.

fields is a very good shooter but on a contract Toronto needs to move now they have gay.

Toronto is looking at Ross as their future 2.

I wonder if they would want foyes shooting?

Raptors is not a good trade partner for us anymore after that last trade they made. They're basicly at the luxury tax (not just cap) right now, so options are limited. And we dont need another SG, which seems like only logical spot to clear up cap space for them. And who wants Bargnani...

I think DeRozan is avail because of Gay & Ross but Fields' contract it disgusting for what he brings. That said, my projection for Burks was DeRosan w/o that athleticism.

I agree fields contract is to high for his production right now but it is nowhere close to worst in the league. 2 more years at 6.25 is not awful not great but not awful.

Derozan has nice mid-post game, slashing and his d is good. You have to pair him with a pair of great outside shooters but I think he can be a winner.

The Raptors like DeRozan. I think he's so-so, kind of a slightly poor man's Iguodala. His game is slashing though.

I would love Derozan. He can't shoot 3's, but his mid-range is good, he can post up, he is showing he can pass.

Hayward is a better defender and three-point shooter than Derozan. Also, Derozan signed a 4-year $40,000,000 contract extension.
