Are Dwill and Boozer friends?

Were they that close during there time in Utah? I just saw in Instagram that Dwill and Booz are hanging out in Miami together. For whatever reason I thought they never were friends. You rarely saw any photos of them together outside of basketball. Anyway just thought it was interesting that their families are hanging out with each other in Miami.

Kinda makes me miss those years :(

Dwill always talked good about Boozer. It was the wanting of trades that made us think they weren't friends. That and Boozer would choke in the playoffs. It was just assumed he didn't like Boozer. I heard Dwill speak highly of Boozer as a person.

Yeah dwill and him have an addiction to oxy. They generally meet up in Miami and snort blow/oxy cocktails. The new speedballs. Dwill really needs rehab.

Would you mind re-thinking and re-phrasing most of this? Kthx.

I'd bet they liked each other fine. As far as attitude/winning/basketball, I never thought Williams was all too thrilled about Boozer.

I'm sure they are friends, but notice how we've never heard of the Nets having interest in Boozer (but they reportedly have been interested in Millsap)? As I'm sure DWill isn't afraid to give input on players, I think that says something about his view on Boozer as a pansy -- uh, player. But it doesn't mean Deron & Carlos aren't buddies or wouldn't hang out together if they were in Miami at the same time. They were teammates for a while, so it makes sense.

Damn that Boozer guy for not being better than the best frontline in the league.

I don't think it has much to do with not being better than them, as everyone knew he wasn't. It was about him getting completely owned and being a shell of himself.

What did you expect him to do? Of course he was going to get owned, they were better players. The other 28 teams in the league got owned by the Lakers during that time, too.

I think that probably has more to do with Boozer's salary.

Despite being very agile moving forward and with spin moves, Boozer simply has poor lateral and backward movement with his feet, which accounts for his poor defense. I remember seeing Mike Bibby, quick in his day but not the quickest guard out there, break his ankles once -- it was rather hilarious. Whether or not he can or could improve that, I just don't know.
