Hey Arthur.

On my 44th try on ESPN's mock lottery, the Jazz got the number 3 pick and took Marcus Smart. As if it weren't enough of a fluke for the Jazz to get the 3rd pick, the Mavs won the lottery and got Nerlens Noel. See you a bazillion pages later, thread.

On my 17th try on ESPN's mock lottery, the Jazz got the number 2 pick and took Marcus Smart. The Wizards won the lottery and got Nerlens Noel also. On my 22nd try, the Jazz got the number 2 pick again and took Marcus Smart. The Bobcats won the lottery and got Ben McLemore. So right now it seems like if the Jazz got the #1 pick they would take Marcus Smart.

We need to get you involved in the lottery process for the Jazz. Getting into the top 3 twice in that few tries isn't so bad.

Great work NM!

actually if you gave this years second and say a second in 2015 to a team that is capped out i think they go for it in the late first. they wont want to bring in a guaranteed contract.

I like this line of thinking. We have BKN's 2015 second-rounder in addition to our own.

If there's a year you could see the jazz trade for additional firsts, it would be this year, with only having 5 or 6 players under contract to start the free agency period.

I think there is some truth to this, but if it takes both of our firsts to move up and snag Burke, then I hope they do it.

Watching Syracuse vs. Seton Hall today, it's 34-34 at half but Seton Hall is outplaying Syracuse. James Southerland has hit 5 threes for Syracuse that is the only reason they are in the game. Michael Carter-Williams played very good this half, 4 points, 6 assists, and 2 rebounds. Always looks to set his teammates up first and then scoring comes second. Definiitely a pass-first point guard and you can't really tell how good of a defender he is because of Syracuse's 2-3 Zone, but he does have really good size for a point guard at 6-6.
