I think he is talking about those 4 wheel motor vehicles they use for races in deserts and alike, that are a kind of ATV (all terrain vehicle) but I'm not sure whether if he's riding one or watching the races.

Now that I google again for it, there is a TV show named Banshee and he might also meant it too.

I watch it. Solid show. The lead is very good at seeming naturally like a badass, there are some solid villians, and lots of hot, naked women. That said, it's only a B or B- show for me because it's absurd on too many levels.
