Do not renew next year's tix until Ty is fired

I know the Jazz ARE Utah but still. If you want change, you're going to have make a statement one way or another imo. DO NOT RENEW SEASON TIX NEXT YEAR UNTIL TY IS FIRED. Period. End of story. On top of that, perhaps write letters to the front office stating your displeasure with Ty and the job, or lack thereof, he's done.

In fact, as big a proponent as I was of hiring a Van Gundy, I am now on board with hiring Budenholzer from the Spurs. He's been an assistant with the Spurs since '96. That's 17 years. Yet he graduated college in '93 so he's only a little over 40 years old. I really hope a hot young assistant like this man is our target.

Not a season ticket holder but I will attend a game or two just like I do every year.

I will not renew my season tickets until he is gone!

Now I just need to become a season ticket holder.

Co-sign on this idea. The only way to get true change from any gigantic corporate entity is to vote with your dollar. Express your desire for a new coach and your vision for the team that would lead you to re-up your season tickets.

Ok, I am as critical of Corbin as the next guy, but seriously some of the criticism is over the top. For what it's worth, I fully intend to renew my season tickets next year. Despite it all, I enjoy going to the games, it's become an important and cherished part of my life. It'll take a hell of a lot more than all of this to get me to give it all up.

HOWEVER, IF the FO goes out and signs a bunch of new rent a vets and Corbin stubbornly plays them over the C4 yet one more year, then I might reconsider. But as frustrated and pessimistic as I am at the moment, I really doubt the FO will continue the status quo with or without Ty. Frankly, also, I don't think Ty will be fired. I think the FO will give him another chance. We'll see.

...I'm just curious! How many season ticket holders are on this board??? 2 maybe 3 would be my guess! Unless you can buy season tickets for $5 bucks a game, I'd think Jazz fanzs would be smarter than dishing out big bucks to see THIS product!!!

I've been saying we need to hire a Spurs protege as well. Lindsey needs to weave his magic and make this happen. But if Budenholzer is anything like Phil Johnson, he probably won't ever leave Pop.

I share a season with someone and have for 10 of the last 13 years. We are not renewing because the product doesn't seem to be moving in the best direction. I find myself willing to let the seats go empty instead of making the money and time investment night by night.

I think they're two years out from starting to compete but they have to get a star to do it. Will a star come to Utah?

I think a semi-star will definitely come if we have a team that is winning games and the obvious missing piece to being a contender is said semi-star..

And by semi star I mean a Rondo.. or someone VERY good at their respective position but not necessarily a top branding name.

well, I confess I haven't been paying any attention until just a few weeks ago, and it took me only about one game to see the problem with Corbin. Politics be damned, we want to win. Any Vet who doesn't get the results should sit on the bench until he can go in a give it his best, his all. And no "trainee" who's on a streak needs to be benched while he's still performing. use what you have, do whatever works. Win. Now.

But a few folks protesting and walking away are not going to count as much as some serious but fewer folks showing Corbin their tickets and saying "Either Win or get out of the Way." There's a quaint expression some folks use to say the same thing in locker-room vernacular. We just need the loyal folks saying it where it gets heard.

Our top goal is to be the NBA champs and we all know that won't happen with Ty the Big FAT TUUUUUUUUURD .... bring someone else our way and lets get our REAL talent playing not just a bunch of money grabbers
