Next years roster predictions

Are we really arguing Kanter vs. Favors? Is this what this franchise has engrained in us? They can both start and play together. The fact that they're both playing behind guys who should be backing them up is a travesty and the real issue at hand. It's the issue that nobody should cease to promulgate until they are both starting.

Yep. And burks and Hayward should be starting with them.

The Defense of Derrick Favors changes a basketball game. Favors defense changes the way teams play the Jazz. When he is on the floor he blocks and alters a ton of shots. Also, Favors would have had a 20 20 game had corbin played him in the 4th and OT against the Bucks. Love Kanter, but too early this season to start him or Favors.

Yes. They attack him in the post because he's too weak to keep bigs out of the paint or from mowing him over for easy layups.

But fans do love a good help d block.

My guess:

Ronnie Brewer: veteran leadership, knows the system
Kyle Korver: veteran leadership, knows the system
Al Jefferson: veteran leadership, doesn't know the system
Mo Williams: once scored 44 points in a single game
Derrick Favors/Free Agent: whichever one has "earned" it by having been in the league the longest

Coach: Corbin. You don't give up on someone in the middle of a 3-9 year transition/re-building plan.

Would like to have it be something like...

Teague/Kabongo/Tinsley
Burks/Morrow
Hayward/Marvin
Favors/Maxiell/Evans
Kanter/Dalembert

Dalembert has already had his big payday, Maxiell should come cheap. Morrow has downgraded, but can get a lot of shots on the 2nd squad. Myck Kabongo. As realistic as I could keep it.

There will be a big difference in our roster to start the year and our roster at the trade deadline. All the heavy lifting has been postponed until this offseason and that deadline.

Exactly, nobody is expecting us to throw a haymaker in the offseason, but we got enough cash to throw at a good point guard and extend 2 of the core four. If we can land Teague at under 10 million a year, and at the very least extend Enes Kanter and either Favors/Hayward... all of Jazzfanz better be going bat**** crazy!

And I feel that it can definitely be done, the Chris Paul and Dwight Howard sweepstakes is this year, Utah has the leverage.
