What's new

Fyi

Condolences, xthren. We spend a lot of time in Jazzfanz joking around, trading barbs, getting in petty spats. Then we come across a thread like this and it sobers us and makes us realize what's truly important. May you have the faith to see you through this difficult time.

I can't even imagine how hard that would be to not only lose a child, but see the suffering of a child through an illness such as cancer. At least he can rest and be at peace. My thoughts and condolences to you.

Oh God, Xthren...

Not once would I ever glance at a posts of yours without clicking on your signature, and catch up with news on Jake's fight.

Things like this seem to point out how meaningless this world is in comparison to the 'thereafter'. He is in a better place now, patiently waiting for the rest of you to join him one day :)

My deepest condolences, sir.

Like everyone else, I offer my inadequate condolences. I know nothing that is said or done will make your pain and loss go away. Keep your faith in God. You'll be in my prayers and thoughts.

Condolences man, that really sucks. I hope the best for your family working through all of this. Let us know if there's anything the forum can do for you, and I (we) mean that.

Like the others, I'm at a loss for words. I can't even begin to imagine your pain, so I will offer my condolences and leave you be.

I just wanna let you know that both Trout and I give you our sincere thoughts and prayers. He just informed me of the news and he is heart broken. I've read your blog and had to stop cause it brings tears to my eyes. Death is crazy hard. Trout can't post but wants to bad. He has a crazy big heart. He showed up to my brother's funeral when he passed and it meant the world. Godspeed. It gets better with time. :-)

Damn that is truly terrible...I don't even have the words, other than you have my deepest sympathies.

Trout would know more than most (any) of us what it's like to lose a kid.
