Ty isn't a coach who will get more out of the collective sum of the parts.
Locke did make a good point that Scotty Brooks (coach of OKC) indicated that if Corbin would have benched/cut the minutes of Sap and Jefferson, it would have disengaged the vets and there would be no way we'd be making the playoffs

Keep drinking what ever it was you were drinking when you posted this Rev. Ty isn't getting fired this off season. After next year maybe. But he well be back on bench next year no matter what happens in the next 3 games
Hmm, isn't this called a no-win situation?
The reason people want Ty Corbin fired is because they thought this team was a 55 win team, and it must be Corbin's fault they didn't achieve it. They can't handle being wrong; Ty's the scapegoat.
Come on savages less sacrifice dis bitch to appease the gods!

Yeah, I want him gone because he didnt play and coach the young guys. Never thought this was a 55 win team. I am real sick of seeing this team revolve around Al Jefferturd.

It's obvious to everyone that Corbin coached both Kanter and Burks a ton this season. Favors played and has grown, and he's specifically said how he's tried to bring Hayward along in more pic and rolls. And now you're seeing more Hayward pnr.
Beating that drum won't change the facts no matter how hard it's pounded.

You can pound your drum all you want. Its cool.
Hayward playing less minutes was not beneficial. Kanter has made huge strides, but both Burks and Kanter should have played more last season. Favors is not getting coached, he is getting plugged into Al's role, and it doesnt work. When he is allowed to play with Burks and Hayward on offense, he is good, but Corbin thinks Burks is a chucker and should not play over Foye, who is a veteran chucker.
The theory that "Burks&Kanter weren't ready to play meaningful reserve minutes to start the season but have improved so much since November that they are now productive players which is mainly due to Utah's head coach" is amusing but not very accurate.
Both players had already shown the same promise they've shown from Jan-Mar (in the preseason Kanter averaged 13.1pts/9.4reb on 58% shooting while Burks averaged 9.3pts on 50% FG shooting and 7-11 from behind the arc) the main difference is injuries forced Corbin's hand to play them in more meaningful and most importantly more consistent roles which is what facilitated their on-court production the most.
But while we're at it, let's also give Corbin credit for DeMarre Carroll's improvement. When Carroll fell out of Utah's rotation both in early November and again in March - it's because he wasn't ready yet. But he improved in late November and then some more in April - and that's because of Corbin! What a joke.
Favors mpg progression from 2011-13: 20.2, 21.2, 23.0.
Hayward: 2011-12 30.5 mpg, 2012-13: 29.2 mpg.
Burks: 2011-12: 7 DNP-CDs. 2012-13: 16 DNP-CDs.
Kanter: 2011-12: 2011-12: 13.2mpg, 2012-13: 15.4 mpg.
"Core-four" should be renamed "Core-fourteen" because at this rate they probably won't get major minutes until 2014 at the earliest.
