I'm thinking more Schroeder's drive and dish VS McCollum's drive and dish.
Schroeder would have no problem driving pass his man, but I'd still have a question mark over McCollum.
If CJ wants to get by his man he can.

CJ is as quick as DWill imo.

Maybe.. but Schroeder hasn't proven his shot so his defender will likely back off... CJ will have his shot respected.. a real conundrum, huh?
Also think CJ's skills translate to the nba game better. He's nba ready, and we would be drafting Schroeder off of one glorified Allstar game.
The only hope I have is Lindsey. A few times he has said the Jazz are rebuilding, but have missed a couple of steps in the process. To me, that HOPEFULLY means you clear out the old veterans who are NOT going to be part of the team moving forward and you give your young players a chance to play. All of this is painfully obvious. Yet, I'm still scared that the only ones who can't see it are the ones getting payed to make the decisions. How sad is that?

Shooting can improve though (Parker has shown us that). Physical attributes stay with you more or less.

I've also been encouraged by KOC's reference to believing teams may need to clear space due to the new, more severe luxury tax penalties. That gives me hope the Jazz will NOT be signing a lot of higher salaried veterans. I'd like to see the Jazz stay cheap and even under the salary floor until the deadline. If we have that much space, a lot of teams may come calling for help. And Lindsey can then hold an auction for our cap space, demanding high picks for helping teams avoid huge penalties.
What on earth are you talking about? Since when did aging not affect physical attributes (ESPECIALLY speed)?

McCollum told me that one team he interviewed with at the draft combine pulled out a deck of cards and asked him to select five cards. After he selected them, the team rep gave him 10 seconds to look at and memorize the cards – number, color and suite. Forty minutes later, when the interview was over, they asked him to recite all the cards. McCollum told me he remembered all of them. The team responded, "Maybe you are smart enough to play point guard in the NBA."
We're talking about the speed and quickness of Schroeder & McCollum.
Are you saying McCollum is getting old that's why he's slower than Schroeder?
You said "physical attributes (speed) stay with you more or less," which is mind-numbingly false. I'm taking this as out of context as much as you made a point in a very poor way. You meant to say "Schroeder is more likely to improve as a shooter than McCollum is to improve his speed."

I forget, how old are you? Just curious.
