Can't believe we don't already have this on our board. I think we need an Oscars of some sort here at Jazzfanz to spice up the offseason (may be between the Summer League and when camp starts?)

I dunno.. what do you guys think?

- Mods/Admin come up with a list of nominations

- Awards may include:

+ Best Thread of the Year
+ Most Informative Post of the Year
+ Funniest Post of the Year
+ Most Valuable Poster of the Year
+ Most Likeable Poster of the Year
+ New Poster of the Year
+ Best Posted-Picture of the Year
+ etc, etc, etc

- Then those nominations are put to vote (anonymous of course).

- Winners are revealed and awarded with reps from Mods/Amins.

I dunno.. what do you guys think? Please vote on whether or not this is a good idea...

Even better... If we just wait a bit longer BluesRocker will be back and we can do his JazzFanz fantasy game!!!

Excellent idea, except for that part ^^^

Well OK, we can come up with the suggestions that's not a problem.

But I really think Mods/Admins should drive this. It will really get everyone involved and be something we could all get involved in, kinda like a virtual End of Year Party type thing.

I really think that's what's missing a bit on JazzFanz - a sense of community. At the moment there's a feeling like there's "you guys" who are mods/admins and there's "us posters". End of Year parties at most offices are designed to "mix it up" a bit and to make everyone feel like "part of the family".

Most bizarrely entertaining poster definitely goes to hottie kkkkkkkkk

Except there's only one one person here who receives any monies, and it ain't the mods. Even then, I don't think Jason actually makes much (if any) money from this place.

if he is losing money on it.... i'll buy it to take it off his hands.

Looked like it was being introduced as a new idea to me..

Also, Colton had, by far, the best post in this thread.... which speaks volumes to its overall content. (I mean that in an awesome way, C!)
