What's new

Hands free whopper?

You could go to any populace and find a wide array of good and bad deeds known to stem from it.
.

I dare you to find any other nation which is plaquing Western Europe with crimes, drug dealing and human trafficking as much as Albanians. If you would be honest man you would admit to those shameful facts and condemn them and say that you are not proud how Albanians behave in Europe, yet you trying to ignore it and blame it on few bad deeds? It is thousands of them and it is well organized mafia not a few bad deeds.

What the **** are you talking about?? Of course I condemn their acts. That has never been my position at all. I have consistently argued that your sweeping generalizations are all ********, and they make no sense because every single nation is responsible for good, AND bad deeds at some point in time. I am not ignoring, I am stating that I will not define a country's heritage (lasting for centuries) over a 20 year span. As you yourself mentioned, this problem was rooted after 1991 when communism in Albania was abolished. The mafia situation is obviously a massive problem, that first starts with inept and corrupt politics in the country of Albania itself-- fortunately, the problems in Kosovo (where I am from) haven't been as extreme, to my knowledge.

When I posted that article about Albanians saving jews, it wasn't about my country being flawless, the best, or whatever. It was a good example of the positive interpretations that a culture can take from Islam (besa). And no matter how much you spin, you cannot prove this point wrong. You also fail to make a point you made earlier, regarding Muslim's refusing to integrate into Western society and wanting nothing to do with peace-- after I utterly disassembled that point as well.

If you know whats good for you, you'll accept the fact that Islam is no different than any other faith, and Albania is no different than any other country. Any deviation from these notions is pure and utter ignorance from your behalf-- however, I cannot say that I expect any different

ROFL ^ this just shows how off you are. That saying actually is of Russian origin. Way to go blaming it on Baltics.

Two things:

1) I never said it originated in the Baltics. I said it was a common phrase in the Baltic Region. Your straw-man is predicted, as you know that it is common and you don't want to admit it.

2) Every single Baltic person I know has uttered this phrase to me. Could have originated from Mali for all I care-- fact of the matter is, it is permeated in that culture, and people find something so crude 'funny'.

Islam unfortunately is way different then other faiths. I may not be familiar with all of them but only Islam stands out as being openly violent ( see list of numerous Islamic countries where apostasy is punishable by death ). Show me any christian, sikh, buddhist, atheist or pagan country which has laws like that.

Thank you for agreeing with me.

1400 years after the advent of Christianity, the Spanish were ridding every last non-Catholic in the Iberian peninsula. 1400 years after the advent of Islam, we still have orthodox christians (Khaldians) living in Iraq.

There are thousands of similar examples. You're just shielding your own eyes from the truth-- instead suffering from copious amounts of confirmation bias, and only looking for data that supports your predetermined conclusions.

Thank you for agreeing with me.

I am not an idiot. I am not delusional. I'm pretty sure in another thread I gave a wide attack on most of the Middle Eastern region in general. My defense is not that of nationalistic lineage. I am simply defending the fact that Islam is responsible for offering guidance for some of the most righteous, kind people-- and that claims of it being especially violent, or claims of it preventing its followers from streamlining into modernized culture are simply untrue, plain and simple.

I would not agree that it is popular and it does not mean every Baltic men beats their women. Yes, everybody probably knows that saying but it is somewhat of Soviet heritage/relict from occupation years.

Similarly, me making claims of Lithuanians all being uneducated, barbaric women-beaters would also be untrue. Saint Casimir wouldn't fall under that category, so it debunks the notion as a whole-- just like many different Islam philosophers, or even modern day Muslims like myself debunk many of the stereotypes placed on people of our faith.

Just like workings of the Mafia could be a relic from Italian occupation of Albania, or Albanian diaspora living in Italy. As you can see, things always go both ways.

Then we need to look for reasons why some muslims can be perfect citizens and integrate successfully into western cultures and why some end up like Michael Adebolajo, Tsarnaevs, or Sweden rioters. I already posted in other thread that maybe it is time to rewrite Quran so it would be less violent? I have muslims friends on my soccer team who are great people and we have no problems playing together or having beer after game and talking about any topics. What made them different from the ones who end up committing terror acts?
