On the last tip off Locke predicts that they would both be the #1 pick this draft. Agree/disagree? I realize it is all speculation but speculation is all we can do as fans for pretty much everything anyway.
Favors would go #1 and Enes #2.
Favors would go #1 and Enes #2.
I meant if Kanter would be in this draft (without derrick) he would go #1 overall.
If Derrick would be in this draft (without Enes) he would go #1 overall.
If both would have been in this draft (by themselves, not with each other) they would both go #1.
Or neither of them would go #1.
Favors no question would go first, Kanter was an unknown coming into his draft in a weak draft. I don't think he'd go first.
Kanter would go #1.
Kentucky would have actually made the tournament and kanter would have been showcased. Meanwhile G-tech would have been... Well G-tech.
Even when he was clearly the only NBA prospect on that team they ignored him.
You are using too much imagination. This isn't the imagination station.
It was a little confusing as there can't be two #1's. But I do think if either were in the draft without the other, he'd go #1. And if both were in this year's draft, Favors would be #1 and Kanter #2. Here we are, just a couple of weeks away and we've heard reports both Cleveland and Orlando have been shopping their picks. I think that illustrates neither team sees a sure-fire franchise player available, even with one of the top two picks. As for the #1 pick, I guess Noel is listed at the top on most boards. Would he even be top-5 in most drafts? Everyone else is all over the place on the mocks I've seen. There are clearly no PG's rated as highly as Wall or Irving. So I guess the next question would be are there players regarded as highly as Derrick Williams or Evan Turner, the players taken at #2 before Favors and Kanter? If so, I guess I'm just not hearing it.Knowing what we know now, yeah probably. But based on what we knew then, I think you'd have to put Noel, McLemore and Len in the discussion. Favors goes top 3 in all circumstances, and Kanter goes top 5 in all circumstances. This is assuming, of course, that both Favors and Kanter are in the same draft.
Had Kanter played a full year at Kentucky who knows. Favors wasn't amazing at GT. He was drafted more on potential, and athleticism.
