What's new

Alex Jensen on the coaching staff?

Interesting. I don't remember him at all (sorry, not a Ute fan). What made him your favorite player?
Hard working, garbage man type of player. Never stopped hustling, tried hard on defense, improved every year at Utah. A guy who seemingly had very little talent and athleticism but was all over the floor making plays.

Didn't Majerus say Jensen was the smartest player he ever coached?

Ty has to be looking over his shoulder a little bit doesn't he?

I would think so. He is very defensive minded. This guy will be a head coach in the NBA.

Sounds like perfect qualities for an assistant coach.

I saw him play in the CBA a few years ago and he was scrappy.

Yeah he was a SF but if I remember right (partly due to his lack of athleticism) in college he also played some PF and again in college he could hit the three but also could play in the post, so not to compare directly but kinda like Battier or Harpring or even Corbin, all SF's that could play PF if you go small.

And not related to anything really but just noticed he, Harp, Bell and myself are all born in the same year.
