Trey Burke/Chris Paul

The main difference, I would say, is Chris Paul's explosiveness/first step... he just seems much quicker... you won't find that in the stat sheet.

In those stats it shows Burke with a faster sprint which I thought was interesting. Also Burke is known to very good at the stop and go move he has. He has a sneaky way of getting past defenders.

But I still think overall CP3 is probably quicker and has a bit better playmaking ability. But then again CP3 didn't carry a team to the national Championship game.

Isnt it funny we had 3 recent lottery picks lose in the national championship game?

The drills don't really mean jack. I think Jimmer bested Paul on the sprint and lane agility but we know in game he can't play at that speed. I watched a lot of Burke last year and he just doesn't have Paul's first step and cat like agility. I actually see more Deron in his game than Paul.

Yep agreed.

I dunno.. I think Chris Paul looks for his own shot a lot more late in his career. Burke is right up there in terms of his ability to "run a team" and "making plays".

CP3 is the best PG in the world...

does Trey Burke think he can lead the league in Steal and Assists in the same season too?

Cp3 has led the league in steals 5x now

and he and Allen Iverson are the only players in NBA history whove led the league in steals in 3 consecutive seasons

i like the confidence, but hes not proven a thing in the NBA...

Trey Burke just as good passer as Chris Paul.

cp3 averages 9.8 assists per game, for his career, only surpassed by Magic and Stockton all time

you think Burke (who had more turnovers than assists in the national championship) is on his level of playmaking ability? seriously?

also Cp3's carreer AST/TO ratio is 4:1

even in college Burkes was 3:1, who knows what it will be in the NBA

but to say it will be on par with CP3's is basically saying Burke should have went #1 overall

The Burke/CP3 comparisons are dumb. But to continually use one game to criticize his AST/TO ratio rate is just as dumb.
